Outstanding service! Mike and his assistant were actually packed up and leaving another job in the marina at end of the day to start their 4th of July weekend- I was having engine issues- I flagged him down and begged him for help as I needed the boat repaired for my overnight B&B business. It was about 95 steamy degrees and he could have just told me to call and make an appt. Instead, although they were clearly done after a long day, he offered to take a quick look. He expertly found the issue within minutes, made the necessary repairs and had me up and running in less than an hour! Incredible knowledge on how to pinpoint my problem and actually had all the needed parts in his mobile van to repair me on the spot! You just don't get that kind of service, caring and dedication to customers anywhere and he did it all with a smile and a friendly attitude to boot! I can't recommend Mike and his team at Newport Marine Services enough... especially when it's so difficult to find good, seasoned marine mechanics - for me to have connected with Mike was a true blessing that day! One of the most responsive and customer friendly companies I have ever interacted with. They installed the original electronics in my boat 23 years ago, for the original owner. I emailed to ask about an issue with my autopilot remote control. They not only got back to me within hours, they remembered the boat and connected me with Michael who did the install! Rather than trying to sell me a whole new system, which would have been entirely understandable, they have recommended a couple of fixes which I will try in the spring!
