Sonoma Valley Fruit Basket / U-haul rental — Local services in Sonoma

Compared to the local farmers markets and other produce stands I've been to in the area, I found Fruit Basket to be ok. They do have produce but it was not necessarily the freshest that was available (see Watmaugh Strawberries). The range of produce is certainly as good as many other stands, but overall not impressed. They do have other food items for sale as well but the overall feel was a little dingy. Probably better on the weekends and perhaps being the beginning of the week for our visit was...

The fruit was mostly rotten and the service from the guy running the place was horrible. Prices are basically the same if you bought them at a local market. At least in a regular store, they have fresher fruit and bigger quantities for the price. Stopped only once here but never will stop again. Save yourself some time and money and go to the Browns Valley Market for fresher fruit for the same if not...

What a nice surprise on our way back from NASCAR in June of 2023! I spent too much money, but that's because there was such a variety of good stuff.
