Leaving the country for 17 days was exciting, but becoming stressful as the hardest part by far was figuring out what to do with our 20-month-old small-breed dog. The idea of her spending 22 hours a day in a kennel with just 2 hours of playtime felt so wrong—and leaving her in our home one-on-one with a complete stranger didn’t sit well with us either.

After a ton of research, we found Pawpals Paradise. From the moment we did the meet and greet it was evident that it was the perfect blend of a home and kennel environment, and honestly we couldn’t be happier with our decision. This was our first time boarding our Sophia anywhere, so naturally, we were anxious—especially about the thought of her being in a crate all day scared and confused. I am pleased to say our experience was the complete opposite.

Sophia had free roam of a gorgeous home, access to large indoor and outdoor play areas, several walks a day and consistent human interaction with the entire family! I loved that the furniture was not off limits and that she got to interact with a small group of other dogs all day long in an intimate supervised setting and that bed was not until 9 p.m. What made the experience even more comforting were the daily updates: videos, photos, and thoughtful messages reassuring us about how Sophia was doing. We truly felt connected and at peace the entire time we were away.

This facility didn’t just care for our dog—they cared about her. A family of true animal lovers. That peace of mind is priceless, and we’ll absolutely be using Pawpals Paradise again in the future. I've used quite a few dog boarders in the past. Pawpals Paradise is the best! The facility is very professional, clean, safe, spacious, and well-managed by the owner, her two sons and their family dog. Yes, even their dog is involved in helping boarding paw pals feel comfy and at-home.

Their spacious facility have means to flexibly separate dogs into different groups if needed (e.g. differences in feeding routines, personalities, etc.). There are areas for dogs to chill and play indoors, and of course taken out for walks, and the facility also has a fenced-in yard for outdoor play too. At night, the dogs sleep separately in clean, spacious crates.

The owner and her sons are highly experienced and observant about individual dog's needs, and will do what it takes to help your dog overcome separation anxiety. And yes, needless to say you get updates, photos, and videos sent to you every day! Any questions you have are answered promptly.
