Rock Hill BMX Supercross Track — Local services in South Carolina

Rude staff! My friends come to visit me during the holiday. Their kid plays BMX, so we took them here because this is a good facility. But we had the worst experience of all time.

The staff is rude. The whole story is a bit long. When we first arrive, the guy told us there’s a storm coming soon, we have to wait till it’s gone. And we are not allow to wait in the building, have to wait in the car. We waited till the rain ends and checked again. And the guy told us to wait another 30 minutes because there’s a ‘30 minutes without seeing lightning’ rule. Then we played in the playground and waited for another 30 minutes. When we went back and checked for the 3rd time, the guy is not there. And the pump track is opened. We waited a while and nobody showed up. We decided to play in the pump track while waiting for the staff. Before we do so, we filled out the waiver outside of the front desk window. 10 minutes later, the guy came back. He’s not happy that we are inside the pump track. He’s yelling the pump track is ‘unlocked’ not ‘opened’. This is our first time here, how can we tell the difference. The playground nearby is also ‘unlocked’. He was yelling at the kids that we were breaking into an unlocked house. This guy should be a law school professor lol.

He also said that we should handover the waiver and get the info input before we can play. While we were trading words, a teenager went straight into the pump track without any checkin (his dad did came to the front desk several minutes later to check in). I didn’t see the guy’s energy this time. Maybe this kid come here very often and they know each other. All I know is that not every visitor is equal here, someone do get advantages.

Various age groups all the way down to little tykes! Clear sounding MC full of excitement & enthusiasm to keep the crowd &' young uns' pumped & invigorated! Everyone respectful, NO trouble makers from different backgrounds & cultures coming together to watch for free well into the evening. The kids worked hard & it showed. Clean facility & grounds area that is attractively designed, Restrooms onsite. You can observe race & wave tracks from various points of view. Plenty of free parking too, although I have seen some folks park safely on edge of road during the day due to popularity of events. Good...

Fantastic track and stadium but heavily disappointed in the track operator. I am on a road trip across the US and live 10 hours away from the track and am going to be 5 states away before they re-run the race. I went there for a race which got rained out after the first moto. I asked for a refund and he refused to give me one saying "I would have to give one to everyone". I was the only one from 10 hours away, everyone else is locals. I get this happens but it left me with a bad impression of the track and I will likely not...
