Fantastic experience at Karobway. Recently moved to Lake Gaston and my wife and I were in need of furnishing our new house. Kenneth was one of the most professional, courteous, and knowledgeable salesmen that I have encountered in a long time. Not to mention he has endless patience and a no pressure attitude. He dedicated his time to us prior to the store closing, with never-ending patience as we deliberated on what to purchase. The ability to "spin the wheel" and receive a discount was an added bonus, allowing us to save 12% on our purchase! I was unable to decide on 2 couches, but Kenneth put them on hold and let us call him back the next business day with our decision. He then arranged for them to be delivered to us with the rest of our furniture we already purchased, even though I didn't have a chance to pay yet, in order to accommodate our schedule. We recently purchased a large LaZBoy sectional from Karobway and were extremely happy with the outcome. We had shopped locally in Raleigh and made calls to some of the huge furniture places a bit further out to find (and determine a reasonable price for) the configuration we wanted. My husband called Karobway on a whim to ask if they could get the same sofa, could they deliver to Raleigh, and asked about price matching to the best deal we had been able to find. We were so pleased that they could do it. Kenneth who helped us was meticulous in collecting the specs for our exact item, fabric, and configuration. We ordered it in mid-December and it was delivered January 31. The delivery guys were complete gentlemen and the couch was exactly as we had ordered and in perfect condition. My son at age 16 took on a job working in the warehouse area of the store where it is a hot laboring environment, and enjoyed working in the back. Until recently the owner decided that he needed to check up on him (and other staff in the back) continuously. After being constantly accused of being lazy (when the owner sits in the office all day unaware of the work being done), having his time in the restroom monitored, and being flat out called a liar by the owner for something that was not his doing he finally had enough.

I hope the community will shutter this sham run business or force the current owner to hand down the business to someone who can get his head out...
