Great staff and large selection of stock for their store
Read moreI haven't been here personally, but I have had friends who have gone and they've complained a lot about things going missing. Today definitely takes the cake, and it's why I'm writing this review- to bring it to the attention of people who need to know.
I used to Ref Paintball and Airsoft back when I was younger, and when we had an indoor field where I live. People often times leave their gear in their bags/cases on the prep tables and sometimes they don't put a barrel bag on an inert piece of gear. Sure, it's a bit unsafe, but it's in a bag and it's not in an active state- IE no magazine slotted, no HPA or hopper installed and the solenoid indicator light is off. I would approach these people, remind them that bags are needed, they would either zip up/close the case or put bags on. Done deal right?
Staff here decided that it would be a great idea to enforce safety by going through my friends case and his bags while he was in the middle of playing, take all of his airsoft guns, and place them behind the counter. They were covered, from what he and others have explained, and out of view but lacked barrel bags. This is not something you do. I don't care if they were loaded and on, you never as staff of a facility like this take someones gear without permission. I could see if the person had left the store or facility grounds and the goal was to prevent a theft, but they knew he was on field and they knew he took the extra care to cover up his gear. Was he right? No. But theft is never an option.
I'm very fickle when it comes to airsoft fields I frequent. I have the places I enjoy and I don't like venturing out of that comfort zone. This was a place that friends had been building up to get me to go to for a while, but this incident has basically put the kaibosh on me taking my money there ever. Unprofessional behavior like this can lead to huge misunderstandings and massive problems. It's a PR Catastrophe, and to be quite fair the person who perpetrated the theft in the first place needs to be addressed and terminated. It's unacceptable.
The first rule at every field I've ever been to was: If it isn't yours, do not touch it.
Thanks for your time.
TL:DR- Place decided to steal my friends gear, which was covered- unloaded -and in his bags, because he didn't have a...
Read moreI will put this review in 2 parts. 1 for the Store and the other for the playing grounds. First the store And for a small store with not much space they have a massive selection of airsoft weapons and attachments. They do lack in clothing and gear. But they have the basic vests and helmets, with some bags and others that you need to get started. Some weapons are priced high but they have many high tear upgrades fir a very good price. For example they have a polarstar fusion engine (version 2 I think) for 475$ which is actually a good price. And the Tippmann M4 is 475$ as well and for a extra 25$ you get a regulator and a tank. To me, thats a very good deal and well worth it if your interested in HPA. The weapons they have displayed varies between 30$ - 900$+ so they do have a weapon for however your budget will be.
The Airsoft indoor feild It's a pretty basic and small CQC feild. And this can be bad and good in some ways. For a experienced players :Be ready to counter Speedsofters , because it is small and so close it encourages this play type. Even during game modes because of there respawn rules (if you get hit walk back to your side and touch the wall and your back in....OR wait for the announcement "RESPAWN!!!!!!" And your back in) it's complicated during objectives so people just play deathmatch . Without a well organized team and everyone working together it's almost Impossible. For the New Players: this feild might make you hate the sport. However the staff does help out with this A LOT. I've had more then 2 years of experience and they paired me and a Speed softer with a lil kid because it was his first time playing. This could annoy some people but it was good to have taught a new player some tips and showed him how to play the game that will help you. And the best tip I can say for new players to this feild ...CHECK YOUR CORNERS. Nobody checks there corners so it was a slaughter house.flanking everyone and I've had many times where I manage to get behind the enemy team and tap on there shoulder . So for experienced players... It's a warm up lol. But I love the feild and the store. And I'm going there today so if my experience changes from 2 weeks ago.i will make another review or extension...
