Whoever works at the ticket booth at the South Kingstown Amtrak station on Saturdays in the afternoon is a an attendant who needs help and guidance. She is rude, not helpful, and really should not be working here or anywhere. I arrived for my train a bit tight for time - and instead of rushing to help me she was yelling at me to plan ahead next time. She was also not helpful and telling me where to go to catch the train. Overflow lot had just a few spaces left. There is frequent bus service to and from the station, an overpass with elevators, restrooms, waiting area, small museum display, ticket agent, and lastly, 2 vending machines that may or may not work.
