Heavenly Sports - CA Main Lodge Rental — Local services in South Lake Tahoe

Our family rented skis for a day at Heavenly online the day before we arrived on Jan 30th around 9:30. There were 2 lines one for ski school renters and one for renters. The manager decided since they were short staffed, to only let ski school renters 30 or more ahead of other renters for 1.5 hrs. We got on the slopes by 11:45. Once we got in the staff expressed their frustration that they were understaffed even though this was a peak day. The technical staff were very helpful and courteous. At one point they did add some staff from other departments but I have not been discriminated like this before or it has not been noticeable. The resort itself is amazing, just don't rent there. We were there for an event and I was surprised that 200 people attended. We took over the bar and had sandwiches and beers, but it was a catered affair in the middle of the day. Since I live close by, it was my go-to mountain for skiing. I'm no longer skiing and I never had to rent equipment, so I don't know what services...
