I hope this message finds you well. My name is Andrea Jackson, and I recently had an unfortunate experience at your store today, November 28, 2023, around 3:18 PM. As a new customer, I was taken aback by the customer service interaction I encountered.
Upon entering the store, I approached the gentleman in the customer service area to inquire about the location of olive oil. Regrettably, despite my polite approach, the individual seemed disinterested and unresponsive. When I asked for clarification, his response was brief and delivered without acknowledgment, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and dismissed.
Subsequently, when attempting to address another concern with the same individual and seeking assistance by asking for the manager, I was met with continued disregard until the same gentleman indicated that the manager was outside. The lack of acknowledgment and the disrespectful attitude displayed during this interaction was deeply disappointing.
Moreover, the subsequent information I received from a staff member outside, who pointed out the same individual as the manager, added to my dismay. I am deeply troubled by the possibility of discriminatory behavior based on race, considering I am a Black woman and the individual in question may have displayed a bias against people of color.
I value the diversity and inclusivity of establishments I support, and it is disheartening to perceive such behavior in a place I hoped to frequent. I believe that fostering a welcoming and respectful environment for all customers, regardless of their background, is crucial for any business.
I wanted to bring this incident to your attention as I believe it's essential for management to be aware of interactions that may negatively impact the shopping experience for customers. I hope that necessary measures will be taken to address this issue and ensure that all customers feel valued and respected when visiting your store.

I was at the store yesterday July 12 2019 at 7:30 PM to buy fish. There was a line when I got there. When the line finally got to me I told the guy taking order that I wanted 3 live Tilapia. I saw him pick up the fish from the tank; he then priced them out and asked me how I wanted them clean. I chose number # 1 from the list. At that point I then looked at my watch because there was another sign that stated 9AM to 8:35PM. Luckily for me it was 7:40PM, there is still plenty of time. Unfortunately for me I never receive my order. I spent 1 full HOUR there waiting for the fish and asking for my order every time. There were 3 guys cleaning the fish in the back. Finally, by 8:30 PM here comes an Asian gentleman with glasses. He appeared to be the manager or the owner. I told him that I’ve been waiting for hour for my order and if he tells me what is going on. He checked the back and started asking some very stupid questions like: “when did you place the order, what kind of fish you getting, how many...” I was like, WHAT???? Read morePoor poor poor customer service. I repeat POOR! I shop here frequently at least every other day. However today marks my LAST visit. I picked up two cans of albacore tuna. Not regular size cans, the were a little smaller. Ticket price was $1.19. When I got to the register they scanned for $2.60. When I spoke up she stated she needed to go look. I followed her to show here where. When we got there she stated they were in the wrong place and i have to pay $2.60. I told her I should get them for $1.19. She said No and pulled the price tag off right in my face! We proceeded to the register. I paid for the other items. I was not going to say anything but that just didnt sit well with me. I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager. I asked her name and she said Melissa. Her tone was rude, her face was rude and she had way too much make-up which threw me off. As I walked out the door. I asked the Korean men who watch the cameras if the manager was available. He said no and asked what I need. I then went on to explain my case. He apologize and even stated the staff member frequently make mistakes. He said he understood my position because other stores would have sold me the item at the ticketed price.
