So, lets start at the very beginning, entering the business we started at the front looking for products for our rabbit, no one asked if we needed assistance, so we went and found someone to ask if they had the product we needed, they did not. We decided to walk and see if we could get anything else, we fortunately did, we make it up to the cash register where two were open, no other customers were there at the time, we get a couple of items rang up when they get to an item that doesn't have a tag, I send my kid to go check, cause they just stood there like it was my fault, none of the items had tags ( poor merchandising), so we tell them the price, cause they still haven't bothered to go look themselves, while one of them in an empty register just watched us standing there doing nothing, they insisted it needed a number, so we asked if the other cashier could get it since the kid helping us ( I use the word helping very loosely at this point!) just continued to stand there and play with our item. They finally get it squared away, when there is another item that has a number written on it, and the young man says that's not the SKU, and began to look at me again like it was my fault! So at this point I say the transaction is over and I do not want any of the items and we are leaving, and so the young man replies, he can just ring up the other things and leave that one out! So all in all, I was not happy with the availability of product, nor the lack of proper merchandising for ease of the customer purchase, and DEFINITELY not happy with there customer service! I do not enjoy big box stores, but unfortunately have to continue to go there for products while they at least have there products...
Read moreThis is one of my two favorite finds in Salt Lake. I am certainly no farmer, but their selection of dog supplies and food is unlike any I've ever seen, especially if you like to buy the big bags. New discovery: "Victor" brand dog food, which seems to be knocking off Taste of the Wild, which they also sell (at the lowest price I've seen). Also a great selection of leashes and collars, including some beautiful, Made in the USA leather ones (lined with deerskin). They carry many pet stain and odor removers, including a few I hadn't seen, again at the lowest prices I've ever seen. And they have Sulfadene shampoos and other products which have been recommended to me but I have otherwise not seen at any retailer. Fun to buy my dog food at a store that sells cute baby chicks (though I shudder to think about people buying the adorable bunnies they sell to raise for meat)! Tip: Opt in to their texts and click link for a coupon for $5 off...
Read moreI just experienced hands down the best customer service I've ever had. Sue answered all of my many questions with a lot of knowledge, and when she wasn't sure based on my circumstances, she called another employee to check for an answer who immediately let her know. She is warm, cares about what's best for the customer and when the smallest bottle of a more expensive product was sold out, she asked for inventory at other stores, found out that it could be ordered within a few days, and ultimately gave me a more affordable option since I didn't want to wait three days. She also saw me later on with a lesser quality item and let me know the weak points in case I wanted to buy it so I would avoid bigger problems, and what a better option would be.
I'm so, so glad I came here, and feeling fortunate Sue asked me if I had any questions, because yes. I had all...
