I’m not even sure why I’m reviewing this place. I have read over 20 review and if one thing is consistent, it’s the bad service. All the way back seven years! Ya’ll I bought a turkey avocado sandwich, a small potato soup and a drink. When I walked in he young girl stood in front of the register. “What can I get you”? I had never been in before I asked what is your favorite soup? She look back at the menu and mumbled something. Clearly she didn’t want to talk. I finished ordering my lunch. Usually they will hand you the cup but she just went about helping the next person. Ok fine moved on. I sat down to eat and conversation with my friend.) Getting ready to leave I had half of my sandwich left and wanted a to go box. I went to the counter waited but the same girl was busy putting together boxes. I said politely “can I get a to go box? Now just so be clear there was only two other customers in the whole place she had only taken four orders after us. She tells me that it came in a box. I said know it came on a plate. She just stared at me. Again can I get a to go container (maybe the word box through her of) to put my other half of sandwich in it to take it with me. She said did you already order your food? WHAT IS HAPPENING?????? Now I’m upset. I stated AGAIN “I have been sitting over there(I pointed to the table) . IEating I would like to take the rest of my ksandwich I didn’t eat with me. Do you have something I can put it in? She looked at me in total confusion. I asked her what the problem was. She turned and slowly grabbed a very large plastic container and extended you arm as far as it would reach like I was going to bit her fingers or something. I said what is the issue. My friend said loudly thank you. And the girl turned and walk away. Cuatomer service is bad everywhere I wish Ya’ll...

Unimpressed. I was at my husband's work today and the only eating place close by is Apple Spice. My husband ordered the french dip and asked for it plain (meat and cheese only) and they put sauce on it. I placed my order online (not a business expense) and indicated that I wanted pasta and asked if they had a cookie other than choc chip since I could not have dairy. I also indicated if they didn't I would take the choc chip and give it to my husband. A coworker picked up the order and mine came with no cookie, no sauce on the sandwich and a quinoa salad ( full of onions - yuck). I went back to the store and explained the mistake and that I was the no dairy order. She gave me the pasta salad and cookie but when I got back to work I opened the salad and it looks to be full of cheese. I didn't want to go back again but when I mentioned to the girl at the desk I had a no dairy request, she could have said the pasta has cheese and that is why the quinoa was substituted instead of me assuming it was a mistake. I would have chosen a bag of chips instead. The website does say substitutions will be made for allergies but there is no indication what the side items are made with. I would have had no idea a quinoa salad had onions and beans or that a pasta salad wasn't the traditional spiral salad with tomatoes and olives. Also, I chose the carrot chips thinking they were "chips" - baked carrots made into chips, not carrot slices. It's fine but when thinking of sandwiches and the word chip, again descriptions on the side items would be nice. On the positive side, the sandwich was big with a lot of...

I 💕 Apple Spice Junction! They have an AMAZING Thai Curry Chicken salad that is to dieeeee for. Today I tried something new and got a box lunch. I got their vegetarian sandwich with a small cup of broccoli cheddar soup and let me just tell you. Their pesto spread is like waking up in a California orchard in the spring time. Talk about REFRESHING😱 This sandwich was like having an entire garden shimmy into your mouth. Have you ever felt like a renewed person after eating something? Because that pesto spread and the freshly baked bread combined with delicious veggies reminded me of everything that is good and holy in this life. AND THIS IS COMING FROM A MEAT LOVER...(who incidentally can't eat lunch meat until the tiny little sucker growing inside me pops out).

I haven't even gotten to the soup. Now soup in the summer time might not sound hat appealing...and maybe it's just the baby cravings but daaaayyyuuum. Their broccoli cheddar soup had the PERFECT consistency (not too thick but not too thin) It 👏🏽 Was 👏🏽 Hearty👏🏽 Hallelujah. Praise the Lord and go get yourself some Apple Spice Junction.
