No replacement options were available from the manufacturer, so it was either fix or trash. He fixed the damaged board while I waited and the unit was fully functional once we reinstalled the repaired component. The repair was not simple as the original capacitor had fallen off the board and there was some damage to the contact points. Gianni was able to determine a suitable replacement capacitor, reattach it, add a jumper to fix the broken contacts, and apply sealer to make it waterproof.
