Red Top Farm Market — Local services in Southampton Township

Red Top is my go to farm market. While there are many wonderful farm stands to try in our area, Red Top is by far the best. The service is outstanding. The ladies in their red shirts could not be more professional or more helpful. The selection is far better than any other, especially the stand next door to Red Top. The prices are very fair and the quality of the produce / products is top notch. I look forward to it opening each year. They have more than plants and fruits / veggies. They have amazing refrigerated and trusted source local meats, local eggs, non-gmo corn (almost impossible to find) little things for dogs, a few gift items and homemade cranberry juice. Sadly they Need more Organic and Sustainable farming products - not pesticides GMOs and fertilizer filled produce, its 2021. I'm trying to figure out what all the fuss is about like I mean there's nothing special about this place, they need more organics. Pesticides and fertilizers on your produce in your vegetable and fruit is not the way to be doing it folks - also markets started showing up and have been continuously operating around the East and NJ since the 1750s (270 years). Great it's on the roadside, that most people travel to going to the Beaches, it's got plants and produce and yard stuff and things for your garden. I didn't get a vibe that there was anything special or spectacular just a busy market with people shopping. Get more organic and sustainable farming...

I am very annoyed. I stopped today to pick up some veggies for dinner tonight. I got a basket of small potatoes, three onions and some asparagus. I put the veggies in my truck and went on my way. I stopped to have some lunch and when I got back into my truck, I was met with the most horrendous odor you can imagine. When I got home I found the cause. The potatoes I bought were rotten. I did not bother going back to complain about it. Just letting you know to be careful of what you buy. The staff is obviously not paying attention to the condition of the product that they are selling. It is very disappointing. I have been buying from them for years. Guess it's a sign of the times.
