Our 103 year old mother was a passenger in an automobile accident in September 2023. When I spoke to Alan Blatnikoff, partner at Mindell Law, explained her injuries and shared that she was no longer driving or insured (the new Michigan No Fault law considers her uninsured), Alan gently and kindly said he would be happy to take her case. We were so grateful as other firms had chosen not to represent her. There was a good chance that Alan's work would be gratis as our mom is one very hearty and healthy woman, even now at 104. She was experiencing pain and was quite bruised, however she did not have any broken bones, head or other serious long term debilitating injuries.

So, that's the history, now let's talk about the service. Alan got to work immediately, notifying the insurance company of his representation and working with Kisha Troupe, our wonderful Senior Case Manager from Feinberg Consulting. Over the next 8 months, Alan would keep close tabs on our mother's case, contact us and skillfully advise on all issues related to our mother's care and insurance concerns. As medical coverage from the insurance company came to a close, we were quite surprised when Alan informed us that he had begun negotiations with the company for a cash settlement. The settlement was very fair and again totally unexpected! When we went to meet Alan to pick up the check, only then did he share that he knew us from shared experiences at a summer camp.

When I broke both of my wrists in July of 2020 I knew I had to get some help and I'm so grateful that I was directed to Mindell Law Firm. Laying in my bed with my wrists propped up due to having surgery on them, having my phone sitting on a pillow next to me on speaker, Jeff Mindell was upfront and honest with me about my chances to getting a resolution but that I had a case. His team worked with me so I could focus on recovering and just keep them informed of any developments. Then when my mother-in-law passed right around the time of the investigation they were so understanding and coached me with the interview. They had even asked if I wanted to reschedule due to the level of stress but I went ahead and after the call the team gave me feedback on how they felt it went.

They told me in the beginning it would be around a year process and they were right. There were moments where I started doubting if anything would come from this endeavor but I am so grateful to Jeff and the team. They came out and took the pictures needed and got me a settlement that was above and beyond any expectation I could have imagined. They even delivered the check to my house for my convenience.

I had a very disappointing experience with this law firm. I was referred to them by Sam Bernstein Law in regards to an injury. The first lawyer assigned to my case (Tyler) quit the firm as I was informed by the second attorney (Fadel) after several months of no communication. I felt that I did all the work necessary for Fadel to suport my case such as providing a very detailed spreadsheet of medical expenses and a summary of the events leading to my injury. Several months later, I received a letter from Jeffrey Mindell telling me Fadel too was no longer with the firm and he was now representing me. Turns out Fadel had never formally ordered my medical records which resulted in another 90 delay after Mr. Mindell took over. In total, I spent about 15 months with this firm with limited interaction to learn they could not reach a settlement. Now I have 14 months to find another firm before my statute of limitations expires. I cannot recommend their services and it has nothing to do with the case outcome.
