I am incredibly disappointed in the way Refine Med Spa has handled my appointments and investment of time. My first experience with Malin during a HydraFacial treatment was wonderful, but unfortunately, that was the high point of my interactions with this business.
After learning that Malin had left the spa, I remained hopeful that I could continue receiving the same level of service. However, the ongoing scheduling issues I've encountered since January have left me both frustrated and disillusioned. Refine Med Spa has rescheduled my appointments multiple times due to the lack of an onboarded esthetician. While I understand that staffing challenges occur, the lack of communication and organization around these issues has been completely unacceptable.
Today, February 24th, I arrived for my scheduled appointment, only to be greeted rudely and unprofessionally by the receptionist. When I checked in, she responded with a dismissive "Interesting" before searching for my appointment history. After some time, she claimed my appointment had been rescheduled for the following day, which is a Tuesday—a day that simply does not work for me due to longstanding commitments. I have a recurring 24-hour blackout on Tuesdays because of work and other obligations, and I can confidently say that I would never have rescheduled my appointment for that day.
This is a clear example of serious organizational failure. The proper course of action would have been to cancel appointments for clients affected by staffing changes, offer a discount as a goodwill gesture, and ensure rescheduling could occur once an esthetician is available. Instead, after the inconvenience of having to cancel my appointment in person, I received an automated message confirming my "appointment tomorrow"—a tone-deaf and aggravating oversight.
This experience has made it abundantly clear that Refine Med Spa is poorly managed and does not respect its clients' time. The lack of professionalism and organization has led me to lose all confidence in continuing to do business with them. I would strongly advise potential clients to look elsewhere for their med spa services until this business addresses its significant...
Read moreI love, LOVE going to REFINE Medical Spa! It’s no secret that this is the best place in DFW to go for all your skin care and filler needs. I personally go for my lips, and any anti-aging treatments. I’ve gone for injections for my forehead and in between my eyebrows-because I tend to scrunch them and it’s even helped relieve some of the tension/stress headaches. I love all of the staff and highly recommend Tia! Tia has transformed my lips from being thin to plump, and lovely! I get compliments on my lips from my friends and bring them with me. I love that you can consult prior to your service and get all your questions answered-and feel educated about your service. Kendal is great and perfect for all your other skin care needs as well, facials and she takes the time to explain what she’s doing and what your skin will be like when you leave! I’ve done a chemical peel with her and it made my skin glow and she made me feel confident going home and comfortable. Ps. the hydro facials make your skin feel so fresh after! Malin is THE best at making you feel welcome and taken care of through out your appointment too! From the time you walk in and check out, she is so sweet! I can’t say enough kind things about REFINE 🤍 bring yourself, bring your friends. Follow on IG-because you just might find someone who looks similar to you or have something you’d like to do too and it’s the perfect example to show when you go in for your own service! One of my favorite things is their text reminders, once you’re a client, you can also text for an appointment which is so...
Read moreThis was an awful experience for a person new to this kind of thing. I went in for my first ever session of Botox for my forehead and crows feet. Do to them pulling from Botox I used Dysport which was recommended... but they give no indication for how much is needed or normally used or anything. I went in assuming to pay $300-$400 as I am still in my 30’s and my wrinkles are only just starting to appear. The cost was over $520!!!!!! That is insane. They just assume I’ll know what amount was used and there is no way to even know if that is accurate. In other words you will go in and can be charged any infinite number... I hope you have a blank check available. Next problem is that my eyes began sinking very bad. So the open eye bed I had before for eyeshadow and eyeliner is gone. I now have a fold in my lid. So an issue I did not have before at all I now paid $520 to get. Not happy! This is something I had to type into Google to figure out on my own. Nothing they disclose as professional millionaires. In this case you will NOT get what you pay for. All locations I have called around to have been blown away that these things would not be discussed beforehand and all were appalled that the cost was never brought up during consultation. $4 per unit or $12 per unit tells a customer NOTHING about what they are about to fork out. Keep your beautiful lines ladies... but if you chose to get something done about them go somewhere that actually cares about...
