Halvorson Company of Spicer, Inc. — Local services in Spicer

We have been waiting for a repair to our dishwasher since June 2020. We were told in June that they were a little backed up, but that it would be repaired by the end of July. It is now January 21, 2021. We have called and stopped by several times and were always told that the person we needed to talk with wasn't available, but that someone would call us. No one ever called us. Fortunately it's a problem with a crack on the front panel that makes it difficult to open the door; otherwise the dishwasher works fine. However, the crack has become multiple cracks and it is more and more difficult to open the dishwasher.

I'm sorry but it appears that at least some of the glowing reviews here are fake. For example, I find it impossible to believe that Halvorson would travel 2.5 hours to the Twin Cities to service an appliance when I can't get them to travel 5 minutes to my house--or even return a phone call over several months. A White Pages search for Blake Timmons doesn't return any listings, and Google and Facebook searches come back zilch. (Not to mention only 1 review.) I'm curious as to what service they provided you since we can't get service--and they don't even return our calls. We have purchased several appliances from Halvorson's previously and never had a problem, but then we have never previously needed service for an appliance. This place is an absolute mystery to me. I think I called 100+ times. I went there in person when they wouldn't answer the phone and they don't have voicemail. but I did finally get a refund after a painful 3 weeks of calling and doing my own tech work. It was agonizing. And the journey didn't end there. They are so all over the place (and you can see it in the reviews) they didn't even do what was logical and sell me a new fridge. I'm old and have never seen so much runaround over fixing/replacing an appliance. It hurts to give a bad review to a local business...

I would never to business with these people they have had our truck since March and have not fixed it. They will not pick up the phone to even discuss the progress. They know our area code and will not pick up the phone. What a terrible way to run a business. I would not recommend to anyonefirt

Now we at the first of June, still no truck. We were going to use this truck to upgrade our food truck business. Now we will have to wait until next year. I wonder how this business would feel if someone did this to...
