It was absolutely horrible, I was there with my family, no one was cleaning tables, didn't see a single table cleaned the whole time I was there, the only one that seemed like he was doing his job was the cashier and the manager seemed mad at him, and like everything that was going wrong was his fault, felt bad for him. The fries were either soggy or overdone, depending which basket I grabbed from, chicken tenders were over cooked in the fryer, and a bit gray looking. I ordered a number #8 flamethrower and found some rotten brown soggy lettuce in my burger, no good in complaining, line wasn't moving, I don't believe it was the cashiers fault the kitchen wasn't keeping up, I don't know if they were severely understaffed or what, but I watched a fair amount of people walk out because they waited so long in line or waited so long for their food. Almost forgot, the pop machine tasted off and watered down, was also kinda spitting at you. The manager took over when we left and we felt that she was very disrespectful of her customers and the cashier, he seemed to be the only one trying to help the customers. You would think in a location like Spicer, across from Green Lake with a nice customer base on hot summer days like this you would think the place would be better managed and better maintained, I cleaned my own table so we would have a semi clean place to sit and don't even get me started on the bathroom situation....I could go on but I think you might have a hard time changing my opinion after what my family and I saw and dealt...
Read moreI am very unimpressed with the decline of this restaurant. This used to be my grandma’s favorite place for a bacon cheeseburger and I am very saddened with our visit today. This DQ location was my first job as a kid, and when Bonnie owned the place the place was superior! Today we walked in and every single table was dirty. The doors, windows, and ledges were filthy. I was disgusted. I understand today was a HOT day, but in the 45 minutes we spent at this location not one table got cleaned except ours because I asked. There were slow periods more than once. When I worked here in these slow periods we were wiping tables, windows, doors, chairs, exc... As we were leaving one of the employees got off work and didn’t do any “end of shift duties” before she left. I’ve worked at many restaurants over the years and anytime I got off we always had cleaning duties before we left. I’m disgusted that the manager on duty didn’t have his or her employee doing any type of cleaning before they clocked out given that the dining room was such a disaster. The burgers were subpar at best. My grandma is not that picky about burgers. When I asked her how many stars to give she said NONE due to the entirety of our...
Read moreI've decided to not go to Dairy Queen all together! My sister and I went to this establishment and wanted, what we thought, was simple: 2 twist cones, one small and one medium. We got to the window and the cashier tried to hand me two cones that were melting all over HIS HANDS. I said I don't want them, why would you make two cones immediately, when there are three other cars ahead of me. I waited for 25 minutes just to get to the window...naturally those cones are going to melt. He tells me that there's something wrong with the ice cream cone maker and I said, how is that my problem and just reverse my charges. She says they can't do that and I just said forget it. I paid for a product I didn't get, waited 35 minutes to get the said product, to be asked to wait another 10 minutes to get our cones. So 45 minutes for 2 cones I never got but paid for?!?!? I realize things happen but it was just way too long of a wait. This also happens at the DQ in Willmar. We have gone to both DQ's and both forgot about us and threw away are orders. We go threw and the cones are melted and the chocolate shake I got was more like a chocolate...
