Teal's Market — Local services in Spicer

Purchased $25 in gasoline, for gasoline we never received. Pump registered the sale and the gallons. Next day showed low fuel warning. Put gasoline in at a different station. No problems. Called Teals, talked with a young man named Mike. This Mike admitted to this problem on the same pump a week earlier but with the diesel. Never apologized. Never offered to make it right. Never took name or number down. Said he would leave a 'Note". If I put in $25 worth of gasoline, drive off, that's theft. If I pay for $25 worth of gasoline and didn't receive the gasoline, legally paid for, that's not theft? Wrong. That is theft. No customer service. Theft of $25 from a consumer. Telling us we are basically out of luck. MN Dept of Commerce says otherwise. A simple apology and a $25 gift card to spend in your store would have simplified the situation and everything would have been fine. This is unacceptable and I will go through all avenues to exhaust every measure to get this resolved. Who knows how many others this has happened to here. I know of at least twice now. C'mon Teals. I’ve been shopping here on a regular basis since I bought my home on Green Lake two years ago. OUTSTANDING GROCERY STORE !! Very convenient, fast without feeling rushed, good food products and selection, and superb service. The employees even bag your groceries and load them into the car for you, when you drive around. Usually takes only a matter of seconds. Total amount of time I typically spend inside the store, from entry to completion of checkout & pickup of my groceries of about $50 to $60 ? Only about 10 MINUTES!!! Clearly, a time saver compared to an urban area that might take 90 minutes or more per grocery shopping trip !! Teal's provides a good service for those not wanting to leave the Spicer/New London area; however, the prices are a bit above average and the produce is especially expensive for what it is. Again, if you're looking for a few groceries it's best to shop at Teal's and save the fuel, but if you are purchasing a great number of items those increased costs can add up.
