If you are looking for the best quality and selection of meats in town, this is the place to go, hands down!!! I have lived here for over 30 years, and currently live on the Westside of town. It is ALWAYS worth the drive to the far Eastside of town for this quality. Fareway is a decent second, and Hy-Vee is a far third even on a good day. They have the best selection of cuts, kinds of meat (I saw Bikini shrimp and frog legs last time) and products (soups/stews/spices etc). The quality is unmatched! Read moreThis place is worth the stop for the customer service alone. If you get within a few feet of the meat counter, someone comes over to help. In the checkout line, the people ringing you up visit with you like long lost friends. The brats are amazing. The breakfast sausage is amazing. The dips are amazing. The selection at the meat counter is amazing. The stuffed Jalapenos and Mushrooms are amazing. Uncle Ed's is my favorite stop in SF. Keep up the great work guys...
