UPDATE: NOT ONLY DID SHE KEEP THE $100 DEPOSIT BUT CHARGED MY CARD AGAIN FOR ANOTHER $155!!! NO SERVICE WAS RECEIVED!!!
Three weeks ago I met "Gypsy" for a consult. I really liked her taste and we seemed to hit it off. I made my appointment that night and put down a $100 deposit. I arrived this morning at my appointment and "gypsy" pulls up only a few minutes before my appointment. No big deal as long as she's prepared to tattoo me today, I thought. No, " hi, how are you?", instead immediately she greets me with a harsh "you need to move your car and I didn't think you were coming because you didn't fill out your paperwork online!". I thought maybe she was having a rough morning and I brushed it off. I plainly stated that I put money down, I certainly plan on showing up. I fill out the paperwork inside, that took less than 2 minutes. She comes back and states she needs my ID and emergency contact. My dry sense of humor trying to lighten her mood replies with, "you assume I have people in my life! Haha" ( I know, not that funny, but I needed something to cut the tension) and her response was "its a part of my job and you know....." And I finished her sentence with "not having a great morning?" And she replies with "you've had an attitude since you've come in this morning!" I simply told her to keep the deposit, I'm out at this point. When asking for my ID she tries to argue more and I just want to leave, I am so uncomfortable. I said "can I just please have my ID?" She comes back with "Yeah! You're on camera throwing a fit too!" When I've just been calmly doing everything she asked of me. It was such a weird experience. Being 24 and owning a business, she's gonna learn quickly that partying all night doesn't pay off. I wish...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery uncaring and deceitful practice, I worked around the artists scheduling mistakes and ended up getting stiffed $120 due to being 10 minutes late, while giving a heads up over an hour ahead of time. Feels like the artist doesnāt care about the people, just the money. She also had an extremely passive-aggressive attitude from the first few text messages we shared. She also told me the tattoo could take up to 2 and half to 3 hours and cost over $200, I went to a much more honest tattoo artist down the street and it was done, sketch to completion in just over 45 minutes, making it abundantly clear sheās just in it for money grabs. Also claimed the words, āpermitting,ā and āfinalization,ā were words too...
