Today was the worst experience I’ve had at a retail location in my 36 years of life. I usually shop at the Van Dyke Tampa/Lutz location and never had an issue with Kohl’s, actually spent $400 a week ago in store. This Spring Hill store is horrendous on how they treat their online customers or maybe just me. I was charged for an order and was advised that my order was ready to be picked up but also advised by email that 1 item was sold out so I called the store three times because twice I was hung up on after being on hold for 3-4 mins and when I finally spoke to an associate I explained to them I was charged for my full order but am told that 1 item is out of stock, can I exchange it for the same priced pillow for 1 in stock, placed on hold and was told yes just come in and we will hold them for 2 days. I came in and they refused to give me my items be because even though I showed them my bank account and the amount I was charged the associate and team lead or manager said that in their system they only charged me for a partial order. They had to call overseas to confirm and they collected my DOB, email, full legal name, phone #,credit card # and DL#, oh yeah and email. I was told if we let you leave with the merchandise and decide to refund you that 1 item still then you just stole merchandise. I’m thinking you have everything but my 1st born and he even was with me! Kohl’s even if you did refund me that 1 item you claimed I was never going to be charged for you have all my info to give over to your loss prevention team to get the funds or press charges! I learned two things today Spring Hill is the armpit of all FL cities and Kohl’s lost my business for good. I’ll post pics of my transaction on social media to...
Read moreOn March 3rd at 6:44 pm, I visited your store to process two Amazon returns-one for myself and one for my husband, who had the return code ready. After completing my return, I noticed that the coupon, which was printed for me as part of the return process, was cut off by the employee, with the coupon details removed that is attached to the tracking number. When I asked about it, the employee explained that the printer sometimes malfunctions and later mentioned that the coupon was “in the trash”. I was also told that only one coupon is allowed per account. Which one of the excuse is correct? Given that I did not make a purchase that evening (and the coupon was set to expire the same day), I felt the situation was more about the principle of the matter. I was surprised by the employee’s response, and I was left with the impression that the coupon may have been kept for personal use. I question the employee’s integrity, as it seemed the employee’s actions were not aligned with store policy or professional conduct. The following day I called your store to discuss the matter and spoke with Assistant Mgr Marissa. While I appreciate her hearing me out, I was disappointed that there was no apology or acknowledgement of the poor experience. Instead, I felt the employee’s actions were being defended. As a customer, I wasn’t attempting to take advantage of the coupon, but simply expecting it to be honored as per store practice. It would be helpful to receive clarification on the store’s policy regarding Amazon return coupons and their handling by staff.I feel customers should be able to rely on consistent,...
Read moreWent to Kohls again and same thing happened. Uncontrolled screaming kids. Had to leave...again. Spent 139.00 and had more I needed but had to go to Bealls to continue my list. I went to Kohls to purchase a lot of items on my list. Upon entering, there was a child screaming at checkout. This was not a normal meltdown. The mother would tell here to stop while the grandmom had the clothes rung up. She must have decided to open a credit card cause it was taking forever. As I am gathering things to try on, the screaming got worse and worse. It was over the top all out tantrum. Mom does nothing. Mom should have taken sid child out of the building cause grandmom was footing the bill and she was not needed and her kid was inflicting undue pain to all who had to listen. At this point I am shaking and kept telling myself this will end soon as they can't check out forever....wrong. Needless to say I started trying on clothes bit I was so shaken I had to put everything back and leave. Whe I go shopping for myself, I want to concentrate on the whole experience. It is me time. I turn off phone and immurse myself in the solace and relative quiet that these idividualnstores allow. The thing that the cashier should have said to the mom is that possibly the child would be more comfortable outside or in the car with the mom....but instead this infliction on their clients continued forever. I will go to Bealls and buy the bras, sleepwear, dresses etc. I was going...
