I have been going to Kae for about 3–4 years, and during that time I’ve been one of her most consistent, loyal clients. I even supported her when she opened her new business — recommending her to others, shopping in her store, and genuinely wanting to see her succeed. In all those years, I’ve never missed an appointment, never canceled last minute, and I’ve always been an easy client — same color, same routine, no complicated requests. I even brought my daughter to Kae a couple of times a year for cuts, color, highlights, and brows because I trusted her work and wanted to support her growing business. Because I have grey hair that needs to be covered regularly, I typically come in every 3–4 weeks — not because I want to, but because that’s what it takes to maintain my color. It’s honestly hard and expensive having to color so often — spending the money, dealing with scalp issues, and just trying to feel good about myself at my age really sucks sometimes. At my last appointment, the very first thing Kae said to me was, “We can’t keep doing these express appointments — I’m booking six weeks out.” That comment really caught me off guard and made me feel like a burden, especially after years of loyalty, reliability, and support. It was painful to feel as though my consistent visits which I do out of necessity, not convenience were now an inconvenience to her. To make matters worse, I was pushed off to a new stylist without much discussion, which felt dismissive and hurtful after all the time, money, and care I’ve invested. This experience has honestly caused me a lot of pain and sadness, and it’s taken me several days just to be able to write this. I never wanted to leave, but I can’t continue to go somewhere that makes me feel unwelcome for something I can’t control. That said, I do want to thank Kae for the years of service, conversations, and laughs we shared along the way. I truly wish her nothing but success with her business — I just wish things hadn’t ended this way. Even with how things turned out, I’ll still leave 5 stars, because for years, she did beautiful work and helped me feel confident. I just hope future clients are treated with the same care and understanding that loyal, long-time...

I've been seeing Cheyenne for years. She's extremely talented and I get so many compliments on my hair in public. I've never been so happy with my hair before finding her.
Kae is equally wonderful in skill and knowledge of the trade. I've scheduled appointments with her for brow work and was so pleased with her work. She took time to educate me on the process, and recomended products on the market I could explore too.
The shop has lots of eclectic gifts to buy for yourself or friends too.
I appreciate these wonderful ladies so much for creating such an inviting space and doing...
Read moreI visited painted moon today for my extension move up and had a GREAT experience. Harper not only does a great job with my hair, but she takes the time to do everything correctly and inform me on how to properly care for my extensions. Since going to harper, my hair has grown 3x as fast as it was before. Besides extensions, she has also colored my hair with highlights, lowlights, all overs, anything you can think of. She really can do it all. Harper is also so much fun to talk to and will never have you bored in the chair! She is a kind, caring, lighthearted, and hard working person. If you are considering booking here, BOOK...
