One Waste LLC. 1103 Wing Ave Owensboro, KY 42303 was in the start up mode for a new business and purchased from Coopersburg KW a front end loader garbage truck. This was on 7-2019 at which time Reagan Beck represented the 2000 Mack unit to handle 4,6,8 yard commercial boxes. When we received the unit and attempted to put it to work we found that it was not designed for the purpose of handling that job. The forks were 18 inches shorter than the normal for a front end loader and they had been modified. The forks also had holes for a small box to be attached for residential service. The driver tried it on the first load and twice it dropped a 8 yard box into the compacter body. We had to have a crane pick it out of the body. The joy stick operation is so erratic that it threw a box forward about 10 feet in front of the truck nearly hitting a person. Our shop has worked on this unit for the last 8-9 months. We have replaced the joy stick assembly and many electrical solenoids. Nothing seems to help this problem. Finally the last straw was when we found out that a major waste company had 10-15 of these units and could not keep them in service. This is why the mileage is so low on this unit. The only mileage on this unit after it arrived In KY was from our shop to a sister company's shop which is 10 miles apart. I contacted Nick Daley, General & Sales Manager several times to try to work out a solution to correct this $38,722.82 mishap and was told not to call him again and they did not want to do business with us. The liability for this situation is huge for both companies. We just want the unit to do the job that it was sold to do.
BUYER BEWARE:
In reference to Coopersburg KW owners reply concerning the 2000 Mack front end loader garbage truck. As we stated we were a new start up company and knew a limited amount about front end loaders. Your company owner stated he knew that the forks were shorter & modified. You also knew that this unit would not do the job as your salesman represented it to do. You also knew that a major waste company had major problems with multi units like this one. This unit was purchased by phone and we relied on Kenworth & Peterbilt dealerships image to give us the honest truth about what we were buying. One Waste LLC has a sister company that operates 75 Peterbilt tractors in a tank trailer operation. We have always had a good relationship with Peterbilt and this is why we contacted what we thought was a reputable dealer for our waste vehicle needs. This causes us to think you committed fraud when you knowingly sold us this unit to do a job when it had a history of nothing but trouble. We think you owe us some solution to...
Read more👎🏻 not a good experience thank God I didn’t buy a truck there, try to buy a truck that was being displayed on the Internet Chad explained to me that truck had been sold like a year ago they only have one person that does the Internet listings they go through every other year and take things down what a great way to Go fishing for new customers. So I try to buy a new truck with Chad I had to call him several times till he finally explained to me that I would have to use paccar financing, I wanted to pay cash he said they wouldn’t except that they wanted to get every last ounce they could out of the truck. The only reason I was dealing with them was because they told me I could get a truck in the first quarter for next year my last conversation with Chad was simply put sell the truck to somebody else I’ll go back to Albany Kenworth where they don’t play games. just ordered a brand new Tri Axles cab n chassis through Albany Kenworth a.k.a. Northeast Kenworth , Interestingly enough I was allowed to purchase it with whatever financing I felt necessary. so if you’re looking to be bamboozled and taking for a long ride give Chad a call I’m sure he won’t call you back you’ll need to call him three or four times he’s busy telling everybody that they can only buy a truck using...
