My biracial kids went to meet a group of friend who were an all black group of friends. Yes they did āthe cut lineā bc their friends were already in line, but instead of being asked nicely for the whole group to go to the end of the line, the āhiredā sheriff in full uniform with badger and gun came up to my oldest son who is 16 got in his face and statedā if u jus bought tickets get out of line ā my son (yes lied which is not the point) told the officer they jus went to the bathroom and got back in lineā again the officer stepped even closer to my son and very sternly repeated āif u jus bought tickets get out of lineā my son then steps away to call me before things start to escalate.the officer then turns his attention to my 14 yr old son now in his face yelling at him to get out of line and leave! We get there. The deputy saw them walk to the group and heard them state ā weāll b right back we have to go buy tickets) which was a bold faced LIE bc I watched them walk into the ticket booth and waited til they came out! While on the phone with my my son point out to the officer 6 grown white adults that were in line to buy tickets BEHIND them in line crowd the line in FRONT of them during this whole ordeal. The deputy not the female owner told the white people to get out of line!!!! If u r of any color DO NOT GO TO THIS! Donāt waste your money on these racist jerks! ( o and since when r deputies allowed to wear full uniform with gun and badge when hired to do a private...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually donāt do trails, there is too much ground to cover and not enough actors to scare me, but I said hey letās give it a shot!!! The Trail of Nightmares changed my mind completely about trail haunts!!! From the suspense of walking up a well lit trail the the light starts to fade as you get to the beginning of the entrance of the woods, to the creepy sound affects and the actors. Thatās not even the half of it! Through the trail is several themed mini haunts (if thatās what they are called) where you walk through a small haunt, but be careful the doors may slam shut and there is no way out!!! Scared yet? Well your no where close to being done you still have a good 25mins of haunts and scary trails to go!!! So do yourself a favor if your out on a Friday or Saturday night with nothing to do, go check this place out!!! You will not be dismembered I mean disappointed!!!! Also for $15 itās one of the cheaper haunts but you know that saying āyou get what you pay forā well in this case youāre getting WAY more bang for your buck!!! Go have yourself a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter visiting many Northeast Ohio haunted houses, I would rate The Trail of Nightmares up towards the top of the list of best. While Mansfield's largest draw seems to be Blood Prison, I found that The Trail of Nightmares gave more scares for the buck. You'll wander through the woods going in and out of many different themed areas. I don't want to spoil the surprises you'll encounter by telling you exactly what those themes are, but I assure you that you will get your money's worth here. Be prepared for about a 20 minute walk and plenty of jump scares throughout. There are a lot of very dark areas where visibility is next to zero and quite a few strobes, so those who are affected by either should probably stay clear. Also, due to the increasing popularity of this attraction, the lines can get quite long. We arrived around 8:00 and waited for a little more than an hour to get in. By the time we were at the gate to enter, the line had almost doubled from where we began. Prepare yourself for a long wait....
