Denver Mattress — Local services in Springfield

I am very disappointed with this company. We bought a new mattress with the box spring bed frame for my son. We were told it would last until he left for college. This was not true. It only lasted a couple years.

My son informed us that the stuffing was falling out of the bottom of the mattress. We took pictures to show that the springs had cut through the bottom of the mattress and anytime he laid down or rolled over more of the stuffing came out.

We contacted the company, sent the pictures, and the first sales associate said warranty should cover the replacement but the computer system to check stock inventory was down.

The next business day we received a call stating that they would not replace the mattress. They stated it did not fall under the warranty guidelines. I asked how that is possible as it was a manufacturer flaw that the springs ripped open the bottom. There were no stains, no bugs, no intentional damage to the mattress just wear and tear from my son sleeping on it.

I asked for the number to corporate to discuss this matter further. I received a voicemail which I left several messages. Let’s just say their corporate office never settled this matter as they refused to ever return my call.

If you buy from Denver Mattress I would not spend any extra for the warranty as the company does...

Sam was great! We had been shopping all day for just a new mattress. This was the 7th or 8th place. We went in and we went back and forth trying one mattress after another after another, he was so patient, letting us jump from bed to bed, adjusting them, asking repeat questions but with all my medical issues I needed the “right one” to accommodate my damaged vertebrae in my neck and degenerative shoulder issues and he helped us find the PERFECT ONE! He explained warranty and details to a T. How when we get our bed first few weeks will be a little firmer due to being new make sure to give it a couple months at least to adjust to how we can exchange it if it is not what works for us up to 4 months after using it. My husband is a back sleeper and me a stomach and side sleeper… then with his help we picked out some fantastic most amazing pillows.. we must have had 15 different ones rotating them on the mattress we chose to get the perfect feel and comfort. Then protective covers for all items and some soft sheets! Found out they were having a sale this weekend and we got a fabulous deal.. so with all sale discount 30% off ( we was not aware) and the discounts we got for adding on the extra items ( plus another 15%) they ended up free. Best part.....

At the beginning of 2024 we went in and spent HOURS (I think like 3ish hours) testing out different mattresses (only Purple cause they’re the best 😃) and David answered all our questions. He even asked us specifics about what we were looking for and really helped us find the perfect mattress and frame. The problem was, we didn’t have the money and thought we would be back. We told him we weren’t going to be able to make a purchase that day toward close to the beginning of the interaction and he never bullied us or made us feel ashamed for taking up so much of his time and not making a purchase. We left that day with no bed but knowing exactly what we wanted. Fast-forward 9+ months to the end of the day on Black Friday, I called up and David was working and I told him that we’d be up and make a purchase.
