Dollar General — Local services in Springfield

This is hands down got to be the worst Dollar general I've ever been to. I am so tired of pulling up at various times throughout the day and seeing handwritten notes on the door advising customers that they are "closed temporarily" or that they are "closed for the day", " had a call of - will be closing at 5pm", etc.. For almost 2 years this store has not had it's act together.

This morning I pull in at 9:45 AM just to find the store "temporarily closed" so they could "unload the fresh truck". This is absolutely unacceptable - ppl drive there, wasting gas to get to your store to find out it's closed. I'm done at this store, I can take no more. I will drive to Walmart and get what I need. Peace of mind...

I was there and no workers welcome me as there was two people standing up there that wasn't busy no welcome to the Dollar general or nothing of worker was standing the one aisles and didn't ask me if I need anything didn't say anything to me when she knew I was looking for sour cream and then the cashier walked off before I even walked out the door and I couldn't ask her about something I forgot because I didn't know where she went she didn't say thank you bye or nothing she just I but my groceries in the car she was gone and then the second trip that cashier didn't say it thank you so I had a teacher what welcome was and made her think oh you should have said thank you I told her...

I will never go back again the assistance manager was not wearing his mask properly and the customer in front of me had no mask on. When I got to the register I questioned him why wasn't the person in front of me not wearing a mask and why was the assistance manager not wearing his properly. He couldn't answer me. He said he can't force someone to wear and wouldn't answer me why he wasn't wearing his properly. He said if I keep making a seen he would ask me to leave.
