I have attended this fair since it started. It has been a joy to visit America in its past. The vendors are always the backbone of this venue, and fun to watch as many of them practice a trade of times long gone. With that being said, I have noticed a big change in the vendors and what they are selling. Over the last few years I have seen less skilled trades and more commercialism. Mass produced items from far away countries. I approached several vendors on this and gotten the same answer each time. There have been restrictions on what the vendors can sell, pushing them in a direction that is less historically accurate and more about modern commercialism.
