2nd year playing a baseball tournament here. This year they decided to make some money and charge $5 for all adults to get in. Not per tournament, per day. $20 to watch my son play baseball. We have been in the travel baseball program for 5 years. Never had to pay to watch. And the worst part is, nearest real bathrooms are about 1/4 mile away from baseball fields, but they do give you 4 porta potties with excrement all over the inside and when you go to use hand sanitizer, it's empty! Whole weekend. No hand sanitizer in any of the 4 porta potties. Sunday morning truck came to maintain them. We went to use them after, no sanitizer. P still all over seats. Fields have scoreboards. Not in use throughout entire tournament. Guess we have to pay more for those to be turned on. Threatened with being thrown out by "security" if we had sunflower seeds. And you have to park at least 1/4 mile, to maybe more, away from fields. At least our car was...
Read moreThis review is for baseball and softball families. Both my son and daughter have played here, the turf fields are great. we overall enjoy it, but i am just leaving a couple notes to help anyone prep. There is one set of warm up cages at each area. the bleachers are covered, sorta. so there is some shade? But none for players in the dugouts on most fields. There is no running water, so no real concessions, though every time we have played there a food truck was there. Also, that food truck will probably run out of water, so pack a lot for your team. Also, be warned bathrooms are portable so maybe hit a gas station on your way. The parking is weird, you will probably walk far. Fun note- you can see fireworks from Kane Co stadium, so if you end up with a night game...
Read moreMeh. Turf fields are nice. I just can’t believe they would build such a huge, facility with no bathrooms. They have porta potties, but they are about a 1/4 mile walk away from all of the fields. My Mom (who is 73 years old) wanted to come to the game, but decided not to because of the long walk from the parking lot to the fields. No “real” concession stand, but they did bring in a trailer. I asked our coach to please never schedule a tournament at this facility again. There are much better facilities for...
