Calvary Community Church — Local services in St. Cloud

I've really enjoyed my experience here at this church : ) I came here as an atheist in search of deeper theological discussion and for a better chance at a healthy relationship with a woman one day. I felt accepted very quickly and learned a lot about the Christian theology and theological meanings and nuances and soon found myself questioning why I called myself an atheist. I grew up Christian, so I was familiar with Christian worship and practices, but my youth was filled with frustrating encounters with Christians and I felt pushed away from the faith. Here, I feel loved and accepted for who I am, despite my flaws and admittedly convoluted logic behind my faith. That's not to say I haven't had any issues while attending this church, but I look back on them and feel there's plenty of forgiveness and understanding to be afforded to it all and I don't look back on it much at all anymore. If you're anything like how I was and feel as though you were never truly accepted by Christians, that you have the logic to disprove God and the backbone to do so politely, or if you're simply at a point in your life where you need better people, better friends, and don't know where to look for healthier relationships, I'd recommend Calvary! We've been coming here for over 12 amazing years, and it truly feels like our second home. It's more than just a church; it's our spiritual family, and we just can't imagine life without it.

What we love most, and what brings us back every single week, is how they preach straight from the Bible. Every message is so helpful and real. It always helps us understand things better and feel closer to Jesus. It's really wonderful.

But it's not just the great talks. We absolutely love how much they care about bringing people together. There's so much good energy here! I have gone there twice now the hears Christian music from 92.9 the Christian radio station.
