Dollar General — Local services in St. Jacob

Today, I go into Dollar General, and I get everything I need. Go up to the register, and of course, the coupons are not coming off. So I leave the line and go back to the shelves where I got the products from. I write down all the specials they are running in my notebook. Then I wait in a long line to get up to the register, and I say ok, I got it, wrote all down. The cashier says I got to go look because the DG app is not affiliated with Dollar General. That is such bullshit. She pushes me to the side and says, "Let me take all these people first." Hell no, I will not be treated like this. So you mean to tell me after I stepped out of line wrote everything down and waited in line again for the lady to tell me she has to go look than what the hell did she have me waste my time. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. There was 6 people behind me in line and because their sales wasn't showing up like they never do I had to wait and let all 7 shoppers go in front of me because they didn't want to deal with it. Overall this is one of the better Dollar General stores I've shopped from. If you're new to the area and in need of grocery items, this location has a pretty darn good selection to include a decent produce selection and a surprisingly large selection of refrigerator items & frozen foods. Their clothing selection isn't like most DG stores, but the grocery options available make up for it. They also sell bagged ice that's much cheaper than the gas stations nearby. Beware that they don't always adhere to their posted hours of operation, so if you're banking on them as a last resort, I would call first before making the trip.... Only reason for not...
