We’re from South Florida and were skeptical that we would find furniture that would be of quality and style comparable to what one would find if we shopped in St. Louis. And to our surprise Missouri Furniture rose to the occasion with several offerings. I wasn’t even seriously shopping for new bed but found one that I just couldn’t walk away from. Both Patrick and Chris were very accommodating and informative to my friend who is shopping for her new home and myself. We ended up closing the deal over the phone and though shipping to and assembly service in my home were an option we decided to pick the bed up and will assemble ourselves simply because we can.

I've waited about a week to let things play out before writing this review and I'm extremely disappointed in this business. I was recently interested in purchasing a matching furniture set in store but questioned when two items were marked down for discontinuance but the most expensive one was not? Didn't quite make sense. I was told it was likely due to being custom......but when being sold I was told all of their pieces are custom and you pick whatever fabric you want. So considering that I wasn'tc even doing that, just trying to purchase what they said they regularly kept in stock. Then my next red flag was price discrepancies between the website and store. The website had several things marked for hundreds of dollars less. When I asked I was told they would honor the prices online. So, while everything else by this brand England Furniture (with pricing actually listed online) is currently on the website for sale for anywhere from 52% to 71% off, but this one piece in store can only have the 25% discount that all regular priced items are eligible for this month? And again, when the rest of the set is just as steeply discounted as everything else on the website? The math isn’t mathing if you catch my drift. Anyways, I spoke with a regional manager on Monday and the explanation for price mix up is that the company who manages their website must have applied an extra 25% to already discounted items and they were looking into it that morning. Also told me they may crunch some numbers and get back to me. Well here we are, a full business week later and not a single price has changed on the website. Every discount is the same as it was on Monday. Oh and he suggested I take advantage of them before they get changed back....sound like something a salesman would say? I believe so. Do you self a favor and research the product you want, you can get freight just about anywhere in the country for a reasonable price. I just had 1400lbs of flooring from Arizona for $200.....delivered to my driveway. Same price as the delivery fee for this furniture store, you'll just have to get it inside yourself. But hey, if it's saving you money in the end?

I will say the employees at the local store are very nice and it was obvious they were doing the best they could with very limited information and now I wonder if they’re also pressured into using poor sales tactics. Because in the time that furniture set I wanted started out as being regularly carried in stock...but delivery is booked 30 days out currently..... to then it was out of stock and going to take 4-6 weeks to order...... but then a "surprise" order cancellation and now it's available in the warehouse again.....but I wasn't too concerned since I was told delivery would be 30 days out anyways......but once that order got canceled they could now see about squeezing me in much sooner now...... and then guess what? I find one item cheaper on the website and I'm told it'll be honored.....and then the fabric or pattern is being discontinued and now we're up to 2/3 of the pieces being discounted. You do the math of red flags throughout a total of 3 hour interaction. Profits trump customer service at this establishment……buyer beware.

8/12/23edit I found the identical couch at Lynch’s in St Robert and it was about $500 less. I actually ended up saving more than that because of the other 2 pieces. Delivery and setup is much cheaper too….only $100 within 30 miles and most of Rolla falls into that. So glad I...

I don't often leave reviews but there are those cases when a review is due for the abysmally poor service.

So, my wife and I bought a new GE washer and dryer set and paid over $2000 dollars including delivery fees and taxes. We've recently PCS'ed from Alaska and we've only been in the state a few days. We ordered furnitures along with the washer/dryer set and they were very nice, provided amazing customer service until we cancelled the furniture part of our order. Service went from 100% quality to 0% almost instantly.

Our first attempt to use the washer and it began shaking violently during the spin/rinse cycle. It shook so violently my children thought we were going through another Alaska earthquake. The washer displays a water error even though we can see its pushing water. It does not complete the wash cycle. Timer shows 17 minutes, then 15 minutes, then 17 minutes then 16 minutes. I called Missouri furniture and they are giving me the run around.

They refused to replace the day old machine and instead scheduled a repair person to come to my home between 6:30pm and 8:30pm. I am not dealing with a broken brand new machine. New things are supposed to work. At least for a little while befofe they break. If they don't it means they are defective.

Now I am left to dispute with USAA so I have started the dispute process because this is absolutd nonsense. I called a few times to speak with a manager and after a 35+ minutes on hold, I got leave your name and number and manager will call you back. Their policy says happiness guarantee....

When I bought a glider on display I asked if a matching footstool was available. The salesman checked and said yes but it might take up to 6 months to arrive. I asked him to order and waited almost 30 min. for him to stand at his computer to get it done. He seemed to be very new to the job. When I followed up recently I was told I had never ordered it. To avoid responsibility for his error the young salesman claimed my adult daughter, who was with me that day, told him to wait on placing the order. That is not true. I was standing along side her the entire time. Now my fabric is no longer available so it is not possible to get it. The worst part is his lying about it and placing the blame on my daughter.

See owner's reply. That explains what happened. The salesman, who again seemed very new, did not know the fabric was out of stock. Also, I started to write him a check but my daughter suggested I wait until pick-up incase the pricing changed during the 6 mo. wait for delivery. The salesman said that was OK. Obviously he didn't know a check was required and even though he spent at least 30 min. on his computer trying to place the order, did not see the fabric was not available. After he discovered his errors when they order didn't go through rather than admit to them he just left us hanging. When I called he lied and said my daughter had instructed him to hold up on the order, which she did not. I feel bad for the owner but if this is the type of help they have I won't be returning for any...
