Walked into the store and was greeted by a very rude older lady! I am a retired ISP officer wearing my t-shirt and somehow she was offended by it! Stopped to use the restroom and refreshments after teaching a CC CLASS and was greeted by an older lady whom made it clear to everyone in the store that she "did not believe for one minute that I was a Illinois State Police officer"! I went to the restroom and my colleague grabbed the items paid for them and we left. I would have replied to her but I didn't want to escalate an issue and cause a scene in your store!

I Know not all police officers are perfect but what went down was very rude and unprofessional! One thing I can assure you that my colleague and I have informed the rest of our fellow officers about the situation and will be staying the HELL AWAY FROM YOUR STORE!!!

My car had broke down and Instead of leaving it on route 4 I parked it in side road. I had to call a friend with a car trailer to come help me, by the time I got back which was an hour and 27 mins, my car was towed. When we called to figure out the price etc to get it out we asked why they towed it in such a short period and he said “ the cops told me to” there is no cops in st.libory. St.clair county sheriffs come out and I highly doubt they are out here for a car to be towed. My windshield was also smashed. All I know is, I was very disappointed. Alternator went bad on us on the way home from our Kentucky trip and we were stranded on I-64. We called and about an hour later a tow truck arrived.. His name was Lauren and was the friendliest driver we've ever had. He even took us to a rest stop so we could use the bathroom. He drove us to our home in St. Louis, let us unpack our truck, and then towed us to our mechanic. He was friendly and talked to us about his dogs. He likes Saint Bernards. What a great guy!
