Dollar General — Local services in St. Marys

Love the cashiers here. I get a different one every time I visit but all of them are so polite. I was actually the last customer in the place recently and left my wallet containing my debit card and my PayPal card on the counter and when I called the following day (after spending over an hour tearing my van apart looking for it) to see if anyone happened to turn it in and I was shocked to hear that it had been. I also love their selection of lighters, more specifically their torch lighters. I like to have a small torch with me at work so I don't have to struggle against the wind to light a 🚬 They have the cutest and the most reasonably priced torches that I've seen. I'll actually go out of my way to go to this DG rather than stop at the one my own aunt...

They have a nice selection of products. New store, so very clean, friendly staff. Public notices (such as no accepting $50, not having change available, etc) are written in pen on plain white printer paper and posted up which comes off a bit unprofessional (but, hey it's a dollar store). Prices are cheaper on many things, but also a bit more expensive on certain products, mostly those you'd find in a gas station are similar to gas station prices vice local grocery store prices. The bed products such as buns and loafs are a bit dried out, especially the hamburger buns, making them not very enjoyable. Clean store, but still cannot hire workers that can handle more that 3 customers at a time. Poor management and no supervisor present. Only 1 employee in entire store. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never...
