Open most of year by request. Regular hours posted on the door during warm weather seasons. The Swedish Heritage Center holds special events throughout the year. Each event is related to Swedish history. The old coffee pot water tower is located on the grounds as is an old school house and Internmate Camp housing building. The coffee pot was a part of the Stanton skyline for many years. It was a welcoming sight of hospitality to those passing or stopping in Stanton. The museum houses history of Stanton and it's roots in Swedish Imigrates who settled in Montgomery County, Iowa. A gift shop is located inside the museum with homemade items from local artisans.
