Hello,my name is jim.i live in worcester,mass.i have 18 years in health care as a cna,the last 7 in home health, as a live in care taker.i have been using apple home care for the same amount of time.they have an excellent selection of pretty much any personal care item you would need to care for someone at home.the staff is friendly and helpful.they have easy accessibility and good parking,AND they rent,as well as sell hospital beds.i recently purchased a full electric bed from them.which they delivered to the house and set up.within a few months the footboard was making a very loud noise,being under warrantee, I contacted the manufacturer, who agreed to ship a replacement.but I would have to arrange for the installation, much to my relief ,when I reached out to apple home care, they readily agreed to have someone come out to install the replacement part.ironically the replacement part arrived structurally damaged(yet functional)so it was installed. I had to again contact the manufacturer, and have another replacement shipped.and again apple home care sent someone out to install it,throughout this whole ordeal,they were nothing but friendly,helpful,reassuring and patient about the process.they never charged me.i wanted to share this story,as I feel it says a lot about this company.THANK YOU, to everyone at apple home care for the EXCELLENT quality service...
Read moreFrom the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a smiling friendly person , (Joanie), who went well out of her way to do everything possible to help me. My insurance would not cover the items I needed, (BC/BS) , she offered me a discount, however I just don't have the extra money currently. I did not let her know that, nor ask for anything out of the ordinary for assistance. Joanie told me to hold on, went out back and found me a discontinued line she had brand new in the box and GAVE THEM TO ME AT NO CHARGE!!! She told me she hated to see anyone who needed help not get it!! What a wonderful person!!! I told her I would be back, and I will for sure. I have been in sales/customer service for 30 years, and she shows attributes that only the best of the best have. GOD BLESS HER!! I hope the folks around her value her as the dedicated...
Read moreApple Homecare did not do a good job replacing the armrests for my husband's wheelchair. The paper tags were left attached to the arms installed by their technician. My husband is vision-impaired and did not see the problem. The Apple installer should have been able to see it. We called Apple about it. And each time they were rude to me. They gave my husband the "run around" as well. I spoke with them another time and they said: "We will not send our driver to repair the problem." The rep on the phone was yelling and rude to me on the phone. Do not hire them for repairs they DO NOT stand by their product, and they do not try to solve the problem if something goes wrong. Instead they are discourteous and impolite...
