My wife and I boarded our dog with Champion Kennels a total of 3 times. The first 2 went fine. However the last and final time did not. 3 days into our 7 night vacation, I received a text message (not even a phone call) that Luna's food was all gone. I told the boss that I bagged all of her food in separate baggies for daily consumption. I wrote in large permanent maker on the bags how much to feed her as well. The staff at Champion Kennels was negligent and did not even read the bag and blindly gave our dog 3.5 cups for AM and 3.5 for PM. My 55 pound German Shepard got fed 7 cups of food a day. When she normally eats between 3 and 3.5. The owner, Cindy, handled the situation completely wrong. Trying to charge me for the food they had to feed our Luna for the remaining days and not even care about the health repercussions of over feeding my animal. If anyone has owned a Shepard, they have very sensitive stomachs and our pup came home not eating and lethargic to the point where I called her Vet. We will not be going back to Champion Kennels and I would not recommend...
Read moreWe recently boarded our dog and cat overnight at Champion for several days, and we couldn’t be happier with their kindness, care, and professionalism! Both pets had little to no experience with boarding, and so we were a bit apprehensive about leaving them in an unfamiliar place. Everyone at Champion was so kind and patient with us, answering all of our questions and reassuring us that our pets were in good hands! Plus, we were really pleased at how clean and spacious their facilities were.
While we were away, Champion staff were extremely responsive when we asked for updates/photos, and at pickup, we were thrilled to see how happy our pets were. It was clear that they were very well cared for! They also came home with little report cards about their stay, which was a great personal touch.
We’ll certainly be using Champion’s services again, if need be. Thanks to everyone there who made this such a positive...
Read moreAfter adopting my rescue in October, I immediately got him into training classes here and we haven’t stopped since! We’ve done positive training level 1 and 2, dog sport, and multiple levels of nose work. Each class has been amazing and I’ve gained so much knowledge from the trainers as a first time dog owner. I have boarded my dog here both for the day and over night and I love seeing how excited he gets when we pull into the parking lot. Every staff member knows him by name and genuinely cares about him and get excited to see him come in. There prices are extremely reasonable for the level of care and love that is shown to your pet during their stay! I can not say enough positive things about...
