CUSTOMERS BEWARE! If we could give this place ZERO stars, we would. Do NOT patronize this business. First of all they are rude. The guy who works the front desk and answers the phone is horrible. He’s sarcastic, unhelpful, and clueless at best. His dad is even worse. He won’t hesitate to smart off, drop f-bombs, act hostile and angry toward his customers, throw fits, etc. - UNBELIEVEABLE. He’s the most disrespectful, unprofessional business owner we’ve ever come across in our lives. He has a huge chip on his shoulder. We would NOT recommend this place to anyone....EVER. To top it all off, when we told the owner we were done doing business with him and were going to write a bad review letting everyone know about how he treated us, he said he would just reply and tell everyone that we were crazy customers. Really??? Who does that sort of thing? Bottom line is, you don’t want to get involved with a place like this, TRUST ME. Our experience with them was HORRIBLE at best.
REPLY BACK to owner: Oh don’t go trying to sound all professional now. Especially after the language you used with us in your shop!!! Do you always lose it on customers like that? And darn right we were untrusting....of you!!! Especially after your shop suggested we commit insurance fraud by turning in a claim, for damage to our prop, that actually occurred before we had insurance on the boat!!! Talk about untrustworthy!!! Does Progressive know you do this sort of thing? We should’ve walked away then. We would NEVER consider committing such an act - just wish we’d paid more attention to that huge red flag, turned right around and left! Speaking of that repair, you people quoted us $200 over the phone then once you had our boat in your possession, ended up taking FOREVER to repair it, only to hit us up for another $1400 by the time the job was done. YOU are the most untrustworthy group of people we’ve ever come across. You’re the ones who are going to need “good luck in your future endeavors” because by the time we are done telling everyone we know about how absolutely terrible your business is, you won’t have anymore customers to speak of. What a joke!
2ND REPLY BACK to owner: You are INCORRECT! We didn’t want to claim it on insurance because the prop damage had happened BEFORE we bought the insurance!!! You people told us we should just tell our insurance company that it happened AFTER we bought our insurance so the repair would be covered - which would have been a LIE and you knew it!!! Edit: This is your location in Stevens Point. I had stopped by to pick up a part that was ordered for me. While I was there the person behind the counter was dealing with a customer ahead of me. He was talking down to the customer like they were a 2 year old. I left at the same time that customer did, they asked me did the guy behind the counter seem cocky and condescending,I agreed with them that he did. I have called the dealership many times and he is the same person that answers the phone, it seems like we are bothering him when we would call or stop in.    Read moreI drove 1 hour away from my 2 local boat shops in Wausau because I can not stand their customer service. While CenterPoint Marine gave me a quote that I needed is about 10 minutes tops, 2 other boat shops in Wausau wanted me to drop off my boat, outside, for about a week. And that was just for the quote. That is an absolute inability to prioritize because at the end of the day they don't really care about you or your boat, just your money, and sadly, there aren't enough boat shops in Wausau to weed out the bad ones. At CenterPoint Marine they are very experienced and they want to get your boat home as quickly as they can. Their standard answer is not, "Drop it off, we'll get to it sometime next week."
