Horrible. I sent my kid here for a couple weeks for a change for him instead of daycare, waste of 600 dollars. Out of the 14 days, my child attended 10 days in total. 600 dollars for 10 days of headaches. Of the teenage staff loosing his belongings several times, costing me even more money to replace, I paid for a field trip that he was not allowed to attend due to an accident that happened the day prior, an accident that my child was punished for. Then my kid came home every day covered in ticks since the teenage staff did not reapply his spray that I had provided everyday in his bag for him. He was constantly bullied, being punched in the head, pushed to the ground and even hit in the face with a tennis racket. Everyday he was covered in more scratches and bruises and bleeding. The director, Ashley, very rude, she pushes blame on little children so she doesn't have to take responsibility for her staff's lack of attention. She lacks any sort of professionalism, I am assuming she is a teenager just like the rest of the staff at this camp. She made up fake situations in regards to my child so he couldn't attended, however my child has never been written up or in trouble in he 5 years he has attended other programs/activities. Her claims were outrageous, and when confronted about them she, in a very childish manner, stated " well thats what your son did, so he can't come back." As a parent, you know your child better than anyone else, he was bullied, teased, hit and pushed around. Do not waste the money here, they do not support growth of any kind, they do not supervise the children, they do not take care of the children. They have children...

This camp is an EXPERIENCE. You are outside, learning new things, things you never thought you would ever do. You go on trips, not only to an awesome water park but also to the state fair! There are so many opertunuties to try new things at Blu Mountain. Wanna ride a horse? YOU CAN. Wanna shoot an arrow at a target? YOU CAN. Love field games? Court games? They have them all! Tennis, basketball, kickball soccer and you can even learn new activites like ultimate frisbee, or even rock climbing! Wanna learn how to swim? HERE IS THE PLACE! With certified lifeguards there are plenty of water activities to experience like canoing, rowboating, paddle boarding, sailing and so much more. Being a former (long term) camper I can say BMDC has given me lifelong friends (camp songs) and memories i will keep...

I been going to this camp since I was 8 years old and became part of the staff for several years after. I called this place home away from home and made awesome friends and coworkers that became family. This camp helped me grow and come out of my shell to the person I am today. Every summer was awesome and couldn't wait to see everyone after the school year was over. The camp is a beautiful place and run by amazing group of people and it was always a blast. Blue Mountain was a place to be a kid again and just have fun and make memorable memories not just for ourselves when I was camper/staff but for the kids as well. Even though I am longer part of the staff I still return to visit when I can to...
