If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. I took in a kitten from them that was dropped off as a stray. He had severe injuries. A displaced hip and a completely degloved tail. I was taking him there for everyday bandage changes and I definitely called ahead the first couple of days to let them know I was coming but the receptionists acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. I'd get there and was not greeted and instead stared at like I was a zoo animal. After a few times of that I decided calling ahead didn't do anything to speed up the process so I would show up late in the evening and drop him off and come back to get him. I asked multiple times if I could stay to watch how the bandages were changed so I can do it on my own with the supplies they sent with me that I had no clue what to do with but they were short staffed or had more important animals to take care of. I understand that and that's not what upset me, the upsetting news after I consulted with a different vet clinic was that the poor kittens tail would never heal, needed to be amputated, his hip was out of place, he needed to be neutered, and first shots done. I paid for all of this to be done and it left me wondering what the hell the vet school did to actually help this baby. They put a bandage over his severe injury instead of actually fixing the problem. Even the vet I had do the amputation was surprised at the bare minimum work the school did because it would of gave the students practice on how to preform a surgery. The kitten was treated as a nuisance and a problem they didn't want to deal with. Absolutely disgusting behavior from a vet school that's so highly recommended to other ppl to bring their animals to. Stand up for your animals because they don't have a...
Read moreSeveral years ago our dog started coughing so we took her to our vet in Tulsa and after doing an ultrasound and charging us 900$ the vet told us our dog had tumors on her heart that were cancer and therefore would not survive. Our baby was getting fluid in her lungs at a rapid rate which was causing the cough . My brother in law who is a veterinarian told us any time we had an animal with a serious issue that we should take them to vet college if possible so we went to OSU. They kept our baby for about two weeks and did extensive testing. They told us that the cancerous tumors that our vet saw on the ultrasound was nothing but harmless fatty deposits. In the end they were not able to determine why our babies lungs kept filling with fluid. They called it idiopathic . But the vet there told 7s to try a herbal supplement called Rutin so we did and the fluid stopped and our baby lived...
Read moreOur newly adopted rescue horse was seen here to obtain an international health certificate and the care was second to none!
Dr. Evan Crisman went above and beyond to help us when he learned we are so far away - Canada. He was diligent in ensuring that our mare was thoroughly tested to ensure a safe trip to her new home in Canada, and even helped to expedite a new Coggins form when our form from a previous vet was rejected by the USDA due to administrative error. Dr. Crisman kept us updated through the entire process and showed so much care and compassion towards our new girl.
We would trust these vets implicitly with our entire horse family if we were local - they are knowledgeable about new research and technology and provide the best equine health care to...
