I’ve come to this arcade a few times now—mostly because some friends were entering fighting game tournaments. Me and a buddy joined in three times before I figured I should finally leave a review.
the parking sucks. Big potholes, and during the rain I hit one so hard I thought my tire was done for. And yeah… it’s Stockton. Every time I’ve gone, there’s been some weird stuff going on outside. Not exactly the safest-feeling place.
Inside, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The community feels tight-knit, but also kind of hard to break into. Some folks were super chill, others gave off a weird gatekeeper vibe. Like you’re either part of the in-crowd or you’re not.
Games-wise, it’s definitely more old-school. They’ve got a Nesica cab, which was a nice surprise, but didn’t have the games I was hoping for. Not a huge deal, just something to note. The fighting game area is really cramped, and when it gets busy, the airflow just doesn’t cut it. Also… some of the regulars need to discover deodorant. Not joking.
This place clearly caters to a specific scene. It’s not somewhere I’d bring the wife and kids, but if you're part of that community, you might love it. Still, I think it’s worth supporting local arcades like this. It’s got potential—just needs some love and cleanup.
nearly sixty 5* reviews is a bit sus, but I think thats part of the problem. I have a feeling theyre all...
Read moreI'm really excited to see a new arcade pop up in Stockton, helmed by an experienced local who knows his craft well and dedicates all his time, energy, and effort into making it happen. Seeing this place grow and evolve ever since opening has been incredible, as the owner has been doing an excellent job of incorporating community feedback and keeping things fresh. There's a nice balance between the classic and newer games available to play, and it's fun to be able to go around and dabble in all the genres available. Plus, for the big fans of music games living here in Stockton, you won't have to drive out far anymore to have a modern experience!
It's also been very refreshing to see how this arcade has become a true third space away from work and home where people can casually hang out, socialize, and have a fun and affordable time. I've seen families, individuals, students, groups of friends, loving couples, and competitive rivals all welcomed here, and they all find something that they enjoy. Shouts out to the neighboring local businesses for being very friendly and supportive, as well as to the local security team that keeps an eye out for us!
I hope the community gatherings here continue to grow, and I certainly look forward to playing several more rounds of my favorite games with my friends...

This arcade holds a special place in my heart, as it brings back cherished childhood memories early 2000s. Upon discovering they had an Initial D Ver 3 Arcade machine, I made it my mission to visit.
I learned about this arcade through a friend's Instagram post advertising an Initial D Ver 3 Tournament. Coming from Tracy, I searched for "Arcade Replay" on Google and was directed to the South location. However, upon arrival, I couldn't find the Initial D machine anywhere.
Feeling a bit disappointed, I approached the staff and showed them a picture of the machine, asking if it was still available. To my surprise, they informed me that it was located at their North location. I had no idea they had two locations!
While the initial confusion was a setback, the staff's helpfulness and clarity were commendable. They provided me with directions to the North location, ensuring I didn't miss out on experiencing the game I had been eagerly anticipating.
Despite the hiccup, my overall impression of Arcade Replay remains positive. Their diverse selection of games and commitment to customer satisfaction make it a worthwhile destination for arcade...
