Taco Bell — Restaurant in Stockton

First off, I understood it was a holiday and they were understaffed. However, I’m leaving a review based off of their poor customer service. After working various food and retail jobs, (despite absolutely hating them) I understood the first rule “Don’t argue with the customer. Even if you believe 100% that they’re in the wrong, the customer is always right”. And you want them to leave feeling you’ve done everything you could for them. However (HERE WE GO), soon as I pulled up it took over 3 minutes for them to greet us, the lady on the com initially messed up my order “You want 4 chalupas” “No, 3” and then with clear attitude in her voice goes “ahuh” through the rest of my order, DOESN'T repeat it all back, DOESN’T tell me the amount, and then DOESN'T give me a receipt so I can verify they even got it right. They forgot an item, so my boyfriend got down to talk to them. They wouldn’t open the door (apparently they had a closed lobby but there was no signage to say so) so I called and no answer. We pulled back into the drive thru to ask for a receipt and the lady that took our order starts acting like we’re trying to swindle her, pointing at the screen with her nails that were wayyy too long to be sanitary around food, receipts askew over the whole counter, going “Oh yes I remember THAT order, 307 right THERE they only ordered 1 Gordita” first off, NO I didn’t. You misunderstood. All you had to do was apologize, say you only charged us for 1, and ask if we wanted to order another. I wasn’t going to argue with the lady whom obviously didn’t want to be there and SHOULDN’T be working in food service to begin with because her respect and courtesy sucks. At the end of the day, we just wanted to know if we were charged for...

Update: Tuesday, October 3, 2023 PM Dine In

This Taco Bell hit it out of the ballpark tonight! All the items that I ordered were spot on. And I think that’s because of Debbie. I believe she made my entire order and she did an excellent job. She might be the manager. Thanks Debbie!

I do have two grips about this store though. The first one…the dining room is freezing cold. Uncomfortable. It felt good to get outside where it was a bit warmer. The second, they say the dining room closes at 9 PM but that’s pretty much not true. Tonight they Locked the doors at 8:30 PM. And this was after I called a couple hours prior to find out how late the dining room is open and was told 9 PM. This early closing also happened to be on a previous visit.

Other than that, this is a nice newly remodeled Taco Bell. I need to get my TB fixed once in a while They did a great job of fulfilling that need tonight. This Taco Bell was closed forever doing a much-needed remodel. It looks nice now. Fresh and clean and a lot more modern. I started with an order of the Bell grande nachos with extra meat and extra cheese. Over $9! I also ordered a couple of the Dorito tacos. $2.59. Both the nachos and tacos were good. They were made fresh to order. Good assortment of drinks. They also have both sweet and unsweetened tea. I like this Taco Bell. Dining room is open till 8 PM. Friendly employees. They have install a new sliding door. When you walk up to the door it opens...

Normally this place is a solid establishment. We placed our order which was firstly placed incorrectly because of the lady taking our order had a major attitude which solely alone will be me not coming back. It was around 4:57 pm and i was order number 307 ( yes I took note of that) why? Because I did not get a receipt with my order and when I asked for one the lady who had taken my order got extremely defensive and was verbally arguing with us. The older lady who I assume is the manager and was trying her best. In all honesty I dont think it was anything to do with the manager or the other woman who was there at this time on may 30th 2020 at 4:57 pm order number 307. If i had to lead the lady who took my order I would have a better chance of getting a screen door to float. Literally waited 5 minutes for the order to even be taken. Also your monitor is broken badly and needs replaced. Alot needs to be done to this location. Overall looks like an eyesore.

Its improved slightly however apparently it is incredibly difficult to get an order 5 tacos correct. I think you need to screen individuals for their proficiency in mathematics. Basic math. I'm definitely limiting the number of times I ever come...
