At first, everything seemed fine. The only noticeable issue was dirty transmission fluid. I paid for a transmission flush, but the next day I found a puddle underneath the car assuming it was transmission fluid. I called JR, and he told me to bring the car back so his mechanic could “fix” the issue.

While driving it back, I heard and felt a clunking noise. JR and his mechanic claimed they didn’t notice anything, though JR later admitted he could feel it “a little” after my son drove it. During our test drive before buying, we had felt a slight clucking and vibration, but assumed it was brakes or rotors.

After taking it to multiple auto shops, I learned the rack and pinion was bad, and the car should never have been sold in that condition. I told JR, and he brushed it off saying, “Y’all act like the car can’t still be driven like that.” That’s dangerous and a safety hazard.

He offered to have his same mechanic look at it, the one who didn’t even tighten the bolts after the flush. During further inspections, other shops also found an oil and power steering leak , despite JR claiming in his ad that the car had No leaks. If his mechanic did an oil change prior to me buying car, how did he miss that?

I asked for a refund, but JR refused, just kept offering to get the mechanic who missed (or ignored) everything to look at the car again.

If you're dealing with sellers like this, bring a trusted mechanic, a jack, and a code reader. Don't take their word for it. I paid $3,200 car + $292 tags + $100 transmission flush+ $2,000 oil leak, rack and pinion

Damn near $6k on an 2005...

I purchased a car from Jr's 4 months ago and je never had the proper paperwork to sell the car but sold it to me anyway and then I told that his business was responsible for the taxes and I would not h@ve to pay it now that my tag is due to expire again its so next to impossible to get anyone on the phone this has turned out to be the worst business transaction i have ever had made in my life i will be contacting all the channels to to have his business rights pulled and never have an opportunity to make someone else's life as miserable as this has made mine.... and I still don't have all the proper paperwork for my car including my tag and the temp tag I was given expires tomorrow so I can't even use the car bc you never paid the taxes like I was told by your secretary that your company was responsible for doing along with the title which you are required to do but haven't so how do you plan on...

It was a pleasure meeting and doing business with gentlemen that own and operate Jr’s New & Used Tires. I was at the end of my rope (trying to understand what was wrong with my extremely new vehicle) about to tie a noose in it and slip it over my head when I decided to give this place a shot. That turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made in regards to this type of problem. In one visit they told me exactly what was wrong, why it was happening, how to fix it, and then quoted a price that was not only reasonable but quite fair and affordable. Anyway at the end of my ordeal the guys at Jr’s are my knights in shining armor so to speak and I will most assuredly do business with them again. Hopefully they stick around for a while because it’s nice to know you’ve got an honest, professional, experienced, and friendly company to take care of all those mechanical issues that...
