5 stars for employees, they are great. This rating is for the wood out front for sale only. I love this store otherwise. We bought a yard of firewood and it doesn't make flames. Just kinda smokes and smoulders, no matter what you do. I burned up every kindling and cardboard in my house trying to get a real fire with this wood. I imagine this would be fine in a wood furnace or wood stove, Maybe? ...but if ambiance and flame in your fireplace is what you're after, prepare to be sad. Had to buy gas station bundles to mix in with it so we could burn through the yard we bought. Really wanted to buy in bulk, without buying a whole cord but this wood was really disappointing. Perhaps it's because it's stored right out in the open with no coverage...

I am happy to support this local business. I had a load of driveway stones delivered today. The delivery charge is reasonable and the driver was very helpful in dumping it gradually over two stretches that made my spreading much easier. The experience at the store with the cashier was less enjoyable and she didn’t make things easy for me. She wouldn’t even give me an idea which slot I had in the delivery schedule or whether the driver would call. I had to call the next day and the man that answered was very helpful and the driver actually knocked on the door to make sure he knew where I wanted the stone. Don’t get discouraged by the not-so-nice lady...

Bait and switch bulk products. I received a different product than I purchased. Flemings refused return (excessive weight). Flemings blamed their vendor for selling a sub-par product and refused to make it right. They basically stole $400 from me. Neighbors have since provided me with similar stories. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. UPDATE: Owner's response is a lie. I spoke with 2 different managers and was told specifically that it was the vendor's fault and they refused to provide either the product I actually purchased, refund, or any...
