Tower of Echos.....Amazing and cumbersome. Ground zero where the plane came to it's final resting place is confusing. They pride themselves there but at the same time you would think the final resting place would be hallowed ground, which would be untouched. But the scarred grounds have all been leveled off with equipment!?!? But if you haven't made it here I highly suggest you stop in here. The boulder symbolizes the location of the crash site of Flight 93. You can’t walk to it as this is considered hallowed ground and is used as a placemarker. It is made of sandstone and weighs about 17.5 tons. It wasn’t there originally but was approved to be placed there by the victims' families of those on the flight. In the background you can see the Hemlock trees that still show the remnants of the fire...
