We brought a tv in for repair. The owner advised us that $165.00 must be paid up front (non-refundable) just to find out what the problem is with it and then receive a repair quote. We were ok with that as we had expected a reasonable repair quote. We were wrong. He called us a few days later and said that the repair will be $450.00 and that the parts would take "many , many weeks to get in". He then wanted to sell us one of HIS tv's in his store at a "great price" and stated that we then could be "watching tv tonight". Our tv was $499.00 new and comparable ones were now about $450.00. We declined the purchase of one of his tv's. He then told us that we must pay up front if we want to have it repaired and stated that he "isn't going to "eat it" should we not come back for the "repaired" tv. Apparently non-professional way of conversing. We went there to pick up our tv and take it back and just accept that $165.00 was just thrown away (to the owner) Sure enough as we had expected , he hit us hard, fast, and strong with wanting to sell us one of HIS tv's at a "great deal". I had to give one star to post. I would of gave them no stars.I went there a few days ago.The shop is closed down absolutely empty. The owner of a shop in the same little plaza gave me the Tech owners number said they work out 9f their house give them a call. I called and left a message . They didnot respond. Own an LG Oled83G2. Had issues with pixel clean. The retailer and LG sent 6 different techs on 10 different occasions. None could fix including LG in-house tech. Finally LG sent Kevin of Tech Television. He called before he came out and asked for a description of the problem. Then he researched the service bulletins.
