So I’ll just say this. Everyone beware! I am a fan of Chinese food. But let’s be honest. The Chinese food that is served there, isn’t real authentic Chinese. We all know that. It’s kind of like fast food, Chinese Americanized. But anyhow,I’ve been eating there for a while, and I’ve noticed that the quality of their food has gone downhill significantly. Not only, did they give some weird portion sizes, but also it is if they don’t care about what it is that they’re serving. I don’t know, nor can I say if it’s a management issue, or if it’s just how they think that people perceive them, as which is not the case? But, you’re providing a service. So quality and quantity is key! I originally was not going to submit this, But I can’t take it anymore. If I need good food that is delivered fast. This will no longer be the place even though it’s convenient for me. Only two minutes away.
I ordered the boneless buffalo spareribs. Large. And as you’ll see in the pictures. It was made mediocre, and it didn’t have a nice char on it like you used to get maybe a year and a half ago?. Again, I’m not trying to bash them. But the quality of service, the friendliness, and the food itself is just off. Greasy, Overbearing, and the flavors are all over the place and not uniformed. If you’re going to run in operate, a Chinese restaurant, make yours, unique, and different! Add some style! And most importantly, care so much about who it is your serving no matter what, that you were going to deliver the...
Read moreI have been an avid fan of Chinese food and take-out since my grandmother took me as a young boy in the early 1990s to a buffet. I have a great experience at most Chinese take-out businesses, but I'd have to consider China Ming to be the worst. Not one but two awful experiences.
Several months ago I ordered sesame chicken and they gave me general two's. When I questioned them on it, I was told it's the same thing and they threw a container of sesame seeds at me. How are they the same when they are made with different sauces? One being spicier than the other? No consideration for the customer or being called or asked if I would like a change to my order.
Tonight, I decided to give them a second chance. I went in and they had 3 pickup orders ready and they gave me the first order not even checking what the order was and what my name was. I reminded them a can of soda came with my drink, and the cashier asked what I want. I asked for Coca-Cola as I saw it in the refrigerator and I was told they do not have or sell Coke. How embarrassed she was when I told her I could see a fridge to her right full of them! Also given no napkins. That is a minimum supply cost that will satisfy your customers and bring them ba k to spend more of their hard earned money on your business China Ming owners! I will never return...
Read moreI recently wrote a review for Peking Restaurant on Wade St, which was not good. I lived in Success Village for 8 years, and ordered from here (China Ming) somewhat regularly. Their food is consistent, though sometimes their fried chicken is a little overcooked, but their lo mein has bite and looks appealing (compared to the motor oil of Peking), the fried rice is always consistently flavored, wonton soup is good, and their fried dough ISNT SWEET LIKE PEKING.
As food goes, there are items you'd rather not order more than once, but I'd like to praise this place for its consistency and overall quality of food. I wish they were closer to where i was now so I could order from here instead. No place is perfect but overall, good food from here every time when you find...
