Updated Review: Office Staff was very unprofessional today. I really like the dentists but I donāt know how I feel after today. Apparently instead of being personable and calling to advise of openings like my dentist does they send out mass messages to multiple patients. I received back to back messages for 2 of my kids since the oldest already had an appointment at that same time. I thought it was the same message advising of appointments for today at the same time for both kids. When I called for clarification and asked if the middle could be seen I was asked to hold and was given the office manager which actually escalated me and upset me because that is not what I asked for all I asked was could she be seen we have been patients at this office for about 5 years they made comments about me not needing to yell which I was not doing, As well as talking as I was going to move my kids to my dentist and try to cancel my oldestās appointment talking over me I had to interrupt and ask if she was actually listening as I was explaining their dad was still brining her. Anyone want to take bets to see if they decide to boot my kids from their care. Yes itās my mistake for thinking their back to back messages were both approintment confirming appointments but they could have just said Iām sorry for the confusion and we just canāt squeeze her in. Not how a family should be treated after using the same practice for half a decade.
Most recent visit: This office is still great, my youngest needed outpatient to crown her molars but unfortunately it was very hard to get in. A few months went by and we continued going to regular check ups. My youngest was doing good very well so Dr. Patel decided to go ahead and try the procedures in office. They are very serious about not having dental visits be traumatic experience. The day of our appointment my daughter let the dentist know which tooth was bothering her the most based on how bad the tooth got it had to come out. I could tell the doctor really cared and hated that it had to come to extraction without being out under. My daughter did cry but she also hugged the dentist after. For the last 2 teeth my youngest needs done I chose their option for sedation in office to complete the treatment plan. Iām grateful for the treatment options and the caring staff.
Past Visit: This office is wonderful. The office is clean and has a great play area for the kids. One of my kids was traumatized at another dental office and after coming here she is no longer afraid. My oldest daughter asks which office we are going to because she doesnāt want to return to the old place they used to go. Here my kids fight about who gets to sit in the chair first. The staff is kind...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish I could give SPD more stars!!!! I'm so thankful for the woman who was eavesdropping on my conversation with my daughter in Publix recently. She overheard me saying how frustrated I was with our previous pediatric dentist and chimed in with a referral to SPD. After reading others reviews, I made an appointment. Can I tell you how easy and smooth it was?! And on top of that, she got in 2wks later.......no waiting months for a new patient like most other places! I was a little hesitant because it was a 35min drive, as we live on the border of PSL and Ft. Pierce. But let me tell you! I would drive an hour for the service and care we received today! When we walked in, I noticed how clean and organized the office was, especially for a pediatric office. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional. We sat down expecting to wait 30mins, but were seen within 5mins of signing in. The dental assistant was amazing and very friendly from the moment she brought us back to do x-rays and her kindness carried over to the exam and cleaning. I typically get some push back from other dentists and staff when I decline fluoride treatments and tooth sealants. But they respected my wishes and didn't try to push me into changing my mind. Dr. Matos came in and was very kind and funny, per my 9yr old, and I agree. She felt very comfortable and was at ease the entire time. I felt comfortable with the plan he came up with for my daughter and look forward to many, many years of her dental care with his practice. Checking out was a breeze as was going over her treatment plan and schedulingher next appointments. Everything was broken down and explained thoroughly, leaving no room for misunderstanding. I HIGHLY recommend Stuart Pediatric Dentistry!!! Now if I can only find that type of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStarted taking my daughter here as soon as Medicaid recommended them as her dentist. Everything seemed great at first until she got a cavity at 2 years old they said it was due to her enamel being broken down because of a fever she had when she caught the flu they also said āit will fall out itās a baby tooth no need to do anythingā a year later they recommended flouride treatments as it had gotten worse and started to spread to other teeth. I paid for the flouride treatments and at the age of 4 they said she would need 8k worth of surgical dentistry that her insurance would not cover. I did not have that kind of money so I tried to get a second opinion. At her last cleaning in 2024 they tried to get me to pay the 8k out of pocket again when I asked if there was another place that took her insurance they finally recommended palm beach surgery center. This whole interaction they acted like my daughter was a bother to them (sheās 5) when I took her to palm beach to have the procedure they ended up having to remove 8 teeth and do multiple crowns. Palm beach said the original problem tooth is one of the last to fall out and the failure to remove that tooth caused the infections in the rest of the teeth. She is now traumatized from having all of this work done when it could have been avoided. This dentist office only cares about money. I will not...
