Prenger Foods — Local services in Sturgeon

Centralia Missouri location has a good selection and quality of food is good. Surgeon Missouri location does not have a good selection and the fruits and vegetables are often moldy, wilted, or rotten. They don't take out these items they leave them in there to sell and unfortunately I have bought a number of these and did not notice until I got home. If you buy anything perishable from the store it needs to be used pretty quickly because as a tendency to spoil a lot quicker than any other location. The hallsville Missouri store has an okay selection and other quality is pretty good definitely better than sturgeons.. It's great to have stores that are in a small town but the substandard produce is extremely frustrating. They need a better selection they need items that are in stock and they need to not sell...

My experience at Prengers in Sturgeon, Missouri, the employees are always very helpful and nice. This particular Prengers needs more variety. This particular store does not carry all items advertised in their weekly flyer. It would be great if they had a full time meat cutter. Or a meat cutter part time.
