Decided to check out Sturgeon Family Meat Market after hearing good things about it. Friendly, old fashion feel that reminded me of a meat market I went to as a child in the 50's. Lots of choices like teriyaki brats with pineapple, stuffed mushrooms, Cajun turkey and many, many more, Never the less, I expected the same taste as grocery store meats. Boy, was I wrong! The turkey needed no help from condiments, as it was delicious as is. The mushrooms were so good, I actually cried a little as I finished the last one. Fantastic local business with exceptionally friendly, local owners. Excellent selection of all things for grilling/smoking like rubs, sauces, and Green Mountain Grills; many of which you cannot find in other places. In addition to the excellent variety of meat, both normal cuts, as well as some unique items that they put together themselves daily. I absolutely love this place. I use this place for my main meat destination. You can definitely taste the quality verses store bought. These people are so accomdating, and work well with you and try to figure out good options if you're on a budget as well. Their lunch both times I've been is absolutely delicious!
