My family of 6 went today for their bouncey house festival. The bouncey houses were a lot of fun. plenty of space and children being very kind and taking turns. when we got to the barrel ride we waited in line for about 6 mins (not too bad at all) and as we were getting on a group of 3 adults and about 5 kids cut the line and jumped on. 2 of my children were already on so 1 child had to wait with my husband and I. Hes only a toddler so he cried pretty hard. very disgusting to see adults and older children behaving this way. there was no employee managing the line and the driver expressed to me how frustrating it is to have no help. the hay ride was fun, but stressful when crossing the highway. there's no one directing traffic or handling the parking lots so the tractor driver had to wade through traffic that wouldn't stop as well as angry parents trying to leave the parking lot. plenty of parents weren't watching their children and one little girl almost ran straight into the tractor wheel. he had to stop driving and I yelled out to her. the face painting lady was very talented. Corn maze was ok, it was very hot out so the kids were more miserable at that point that having fun. they brag about their carmel apples but were completely sold out when we got there an hour after they opened. the petting zoo was quite small and disappointing. pumpkins and product were very overpriced. upon leaving we watched 2 women fight over a parking space, while an angry man screamed at a 4th vehicle to "get out of his effing way". really wish they had staff managing the parking area. for our family of 6 I spent $65 just on wrist bands plus drinks/snacks. It was an ok experience but we will not be back. I encourage the owners to not have this event again until they have to staff to properly manage lines, watch the parking lots and direct traffic. I see a terrible accident happening...
Read moreI normally come here to do my strawberries during the summer and I'm usually happy however this year has been terrible. The customer service skills are very much lacking here, they tired to make up for it with giving me a gift card and when I went to pick it up no one had any idea what I was talking about even though I was told one will be there. I wasted my gas twice during this.
Not to mention the reason I was getting the gift card was because I told them about people fighting in the fields over some dumb strawberries. I mean I don't blame them, they send in their pickers first and this year was not a good year for strawberries so it was very few in between but yelling at kids who are under the age of 7 isn't okay.
Gas is super high lately and I just lost a lot more money this way. I will be buying my produce someone else and strawberry pick somewhere...
Read moreWe went to the "Tulip" festival and were sadly disappointed that by the time we arrived at 1:30 today all of the Tulips were picked. Why let people pick all of the tulips and then still expect people to pay for admission. There were multiple people in our group traveling from Manitowoc to Green Bay (48 minute drive) to see this event. We took 5 vehicles total. What a waste of gas for everyone. In addition I commented on their Facebook page to let others know they didn't have any Tulips left and they removed my comment and blocked me. Seems shady to me, why not just tell people and be upfront with your customers? It is going to make a lot of people frustrated if they show up for Mother's Day tomorrow and there...
